Hey, I had a question, please PM me or reply if you can help ^_^

I imported a Japanese copy of Diamond a while ago and I have now transferred everything I want from it onto my North American copy of Pearl. So I'd like to start over on the Japanese copy. My question is, it won't let me save the new game I make on the Diamond copy, why is this?

Any assistance would be very much appreciated.

Maybe first try clearing out the data from the Japanese cart completely using Up+Select+B?

Thank you very much, I will try that later =)

Sorry, I just couldn't find where that soft-reset key stroke or memory clear key stroke was. A big help, thanks ^_^

Hmm... Usually it'd say, when you start a new game, "Are you REALLY REALLY SURE you wanna save over the old game?" You're probably pressing no on that...

DP's changed it to require you to reset it at the Dialga/Palkia screen. Or, at least, that's what it told me when I attempted to just create a brand new game on Pearl. Also said something about not being able to save unless you delete the old game.

Well, no, actually. Not to be blunt but I've saved a MILLION and a half times on the file I have now, so I know which one is 'yes' and which one is 'no'. So it's not that...

Thank you though =)

Oh!! Okay, I'll try that! Makes sense.
