Ok, I'm new here (idk if this is the right forum thread and what not) but I've been viewing Bulbapedia for quite awhile now and with HG and SS coming, I think this would do good for the Pokemons' pages. Since soon we will be able to walk around with ANY pokemon. Each pokemon will have an overworld sprite and this should be placed into the sprite templates. An example:

Hrmmmmmm... Well, the overworld sprite was only for Yellow and HGSS, and Yellow was just for Pikachu. So it would just be in the Gen IV section, but then the function is not available in DPPt, so we would probably jusst axe the idea altogether.

Rest assured, though, we'll have some sort of page listing everyone's overworld sprite.

Also, I like that you're thinking. We really appreciate input!

Technically, there are overworld sprites in every generation if you includes the ones in NPC houses. Amity Park had some overworld sprites, too. And I guess all non-roaming legendary Pokémon have an overworld sprite in the games they appear in.

Not a bad idea, actually. I'll let some other people weigh in on it before giving my opinion.

i just thought of something else about this: if there's gonna be different sizes for different overworld sprites, should we have a scale, as well? i don't think that it would make sense for the developers to have Groudon's overworld sprite to be the same as cyndaquil's.

If memory serves, the Gen I overworld sprites were just the menu sprites (as in the Mewtwo in the Unknown Dungeon looked the same as the Machop in Vermillion) of course, I've always wanted to collect those menu sprites (and perhaps set up a list of which Pokémon were represented by which) so this sounds like a great idea to me!

A nice idea. Let's wait to implement, though. And not in the spritebox... BAAAAAD idea there.

Overworld Sprite is a great idea. But, if it doesn't go in the spritebox where else could it go... Infobox?

Maybe there, maybe elsewhere.

Give the learnset boxes graphics; they already have the name of the Pokémon...
