Real People, No Pokemon: Any Interest?

Hey there.

It's been a while since I've used this, and I come with a query for all of you, interest wise. I have been thinking about doing a story that focuses entirely on real people living in the real world (well, as real as fiction can get ) But I was wondering, would anyone here be interested in reading a story that didn't involve Pokemon, just average people living out their own dramas and relationships etc.

So, any interest, or should we keep this place entirely for fan fiction?

I was skeptical of my upcoming fic so I added a little pokemon influence but primarily there's nothing much pokemon in it. It's more about real people and.....not giving too much away xD Anyway it should be coming out either next weeks or so xD

Thanks for the feedback everyone I am currently concocting a plot and characters, and hopefully within a month or two I'll get a preview chapter put up for more feedback. I'm thinking of a small community based plot, with a family and several neighbours at the center of the storylines

You know what my favourite thing about this kind of thread is?

I'm pretty sure someone posts something to this effect every couple of months and the response is always a resounding "DO IT"

I'll read it, I was actually thinking of doing a non Pokemon fic myself so it's a good thing to see someone else making a thread for it. Anyway I really like to read it so when it's ready then tag me.

One question what would the plot be exactly?

The story is based around three siblings whose fractures and issues that they have been trying to keep hidden for several years begin to fall apart upon the mysterious arrival of the son of their estranged sister, which causes them to see the truth in themselves, their families and their communities. I wanted to do a more realistic dysfunctional family rather than the sort of families we see on TV and movies who always have extravagent dinners and all seem to make the same sorts of money and lead very similar lifestyles. There'll be several other families and people involved, but the main plot lines will involve a member of the family.

Wow, I'm pleased to see so many people interested by this without that much revealed yet I am trying to work on names, setting and a series of plotlines at the moment, so I hope to get a prologue or introductory chapter up first
