Really Quick GIMP Splash Art

Yeah, I just got back into making art with the GIMP. I made this little splash art both to personalize the GIMP and to make sure I didn't get a brain fart and forgot all the elements of the GIMP.

The lighter area in the bottom is where messages such as "Loading Brushes" will appear and since the background is a little dark, I had to lighten the area up. Nothing hard really, just a quick one-hour art.

I have Gimp too and use it. I should do one too.
How do you do it anyway.

You basically just make an art (300X400 for 2.4.2, 400X300 for older versions), and save it as "gimp-splash" in C:\Program Files\GIMP-2.0\share\gimp\2.0\images. Make sure you save a copy of the original splash art if you choose to change your mind.

Actually, size doesn't matter. I randomly chose a Pokesho art pic, names it gimp-splash and voila.
