Something I've always wondered...do Australians keep cockatiels as pets? I mean, squirrels in America are cute and entertaining and all, but I have a hard time imagining anyone but the most eccentric actually owning one.
 
Well, I'm an Australian, and yes, some of us do keep Cockatiels, though I don't own one myself

by Cockatiels, you mean the little yellow birds which sorta look like Cookatoos, right?
 
I used to know a lady that kept a few of them. I dunno what happened to 'em though.
