So I download certain .mp4 files to watch on VLC like I have many times before. I try to watch them and they seem to work normally, but at some point both the audio and video will completely freeze, although the slider continues to move and the timer continues to count. Closing VLC and reopening it and the file doesn't help. Any ideas?
