I'm doing a ton of training in my Emerald game so I have bit more of a choice when choosing Pokemon at the Battle Frontier. Right now, I'm training a Venusaur and Meganium to lvl.100 right now and I'm not too sure what moves I should give to them. This is their current moveset right now.

Stan (Venusaur) (M) @ Exp.Share
- Body Slam
- Razor Leaf
- Synthesis
- Vine Whip

Possible Moves: Solar Beam, Slugebomb, Earthquake, Protect

Kyle (Meganium) (M) @ Exp.Share
- Tackle
- Synthesis
- Razor Leaf
- Body Slam

Possible Moves: Solar Beam, Iron Tail, Protect

Also, with my current lvl.100 team for the BF, I want to change their movesets around because some attacks to get used or they aren't useful for me anymore.

Kai (Blaziken) (M) @ Leftovers
- Blaze Kick
- Double Kick
- Sky Uppercut
- Flamethrower

I want to replace Double Kick but I'm not sure if I want to replace it with Earthquake or Brick Break.

Altaria (F) @ Cheri Berry
- Dragonbreath
- Fly
- Attract
- Sky Attack

Obviously, I want to get rid of Attract. I have no idea why that's on her anyway since I never use it. I'm not sure if I should replace it with Dragon Claw, Ice Beam, or Flamethrower. Not too sure if I should get rid of Sky Attack too.

Starmie @ Pecha Berry
- Ice Beam
- Psychic
- Surf
- Hydro Pump

Is Starmie fine the way it is? Or should I get rid of Hydro Pump and replace it with somthing else like Thunderbolt?

Thanks for your help. ^_^

I tink that you should get rid of synthesis, and use something more powerful than the STAB moves that uve got at the mo, but not solarbeam

Should I get rid of Synthesis on both Venusuar and Meganium? Or just one of them? And what exactly should I replace it with?

Not sure, but Sludge bomb may be good for venasaur, Meganium i tink that you should choose wether to keep it or Iron Tail but your choice also mabye get frenzy plant for venasaur in the game you traded it from on Two island

Gardevoir is my 6th pokemon. I just don't have any problems with her current moveset.

I see... I just can't decide wether I want to give Venusuar Slugde Bomb or Earthquake because I also want to give it to Blaziken too. Maybe I'll transfer over my Earthquake TM from my LG game since I plan on restarting my game. No point in letting a good TM go to waste.

In Poke'mon Emerald I'm more focused on the contests:

★Mudkip
★Hydropump
★Dig
★Surf
★Dive

★Skitty
★Faint Attack
★Ice Beam
★Return

★Kecleon
★Focus Punch
★Double Team
★Brick Break
★Solar Beam

★Pikachu
★Agility
★Iron Tail
★Quick Attack
★Volt Tackle

★Phanpy
★Roll Out
★Take Down

In Poke'mon LeafGreen, Crystal and Yellow, the battles:

★Squirtle
★Surf
★Waterfall
★Water Gun
★Withdraw

★Pikachu
★Thunder Shock
★Quick Attack, Body Slam
★Double Team
★Aglility

★Clefairy
★Mega Punch
★Flash
★Metronome
★Meteor Mash

Get rid of Vine Whip, Razor Leaf and Tackle.

For Venusaur, I recommend Sludge Bomb, and a STAB grass move.

With Meganium, teach it Sunny Day, and maybe Solarbeam. You run into risks with Fire Types then (but its already a vulnerability), and Sunny Day not only increases the amount of health regained from Synthesis, it also means that Solarbeam only takes one turn to use. Sunny Day lasts for five turns.

For Blaziken, I recommend getting rid of Double Kick for Briock Break, a much more powerful move. Also, choose between Blaze Kick and Flamethrower - you don't need both.

Keep Attract on Altaria. You say that you've never used it, but Attract is a fantastic strategy piece. It makes a Pokemon of the opposite gender less able to use any of its own attacks (even moves on itself, like Synthesis). I've always found it almost impossible to attack when I've had Attract used.

Starmie already knows Surf, so get rid of Hydro Pump. Surf's accuracy will do dividends in the long term. Teach it Rain Dance and Thunder. The Rain Dance will increase the power of Surf, and give Thunder 100% accuracy instead of the usual 70%.

And Jamster, theres absolutely no need to talk to another member like that. It is completely disrespectful and uncalled for.

Oh, and by the way Icelilly, I strongly recommend using the Emerald cloning glitch if you decide to use your TMs, so that then you will have another to use later.

How do you do the Emerald glitch? I've been trying to figure out how to use it but I keep doing it wrong. >_<

1) Go to the Battle Tower in the Battle Frontier (the one with four counters)
2) Go to the computer and deposit the Pokemon you want to clone (put an item on it if you want to clone the item too)
3) Exit from the PC and save
4) Turn on the PC and withdraw the Pokemon
5) Go to the attendant who is closest to you (she is behind the desk on the far right)
6) Choose your battle mode (I recommend Open just for simplicity's sake)
7) When she asks if it is okay to save the game, hit Yes
8) Wait
9) When she asks if you would like to save the game, turn the game off
10) Turn the game on again. The Pokemon you wanted to clone should be in your party, and you should be standing in front of the attendant. Check the PC - your cloned Pokemon should be in the box that you deposited it into.

OMG. It worked! Thank you so much! Now, I clone all my TMs for future use! ^.^

I suggest Dumping either Venusaur OR Meganium
they both have similar weaknesses and coupled with Altaria create 3 Ice problems. Get a Water type like Swampert/Whiscash/Quagsire with one weakness you can easily counter.
Quagsire can have Water Absorb which could prove useful however
Whiscash gets Fissure if you want a 1-Hit K.O move
but Swampert evolves twice so it's stats will be better and it can learn Ice Ball.
Really any of these 3 could work

theres also the possibility of Blissey as its a Special Wall and it learns good Special Atk moves which might prove helpful cause of versatility
