Recycled Character Thread

[Maxim Posthumus]

In the Pokemon Anime there are many guys reappearing during the series.

The most often appearing and most famous one is certainly the Guy in Cap and Blue Shirt. He's my favourite. He has a Kecleon & Ponyta. Even Pokesho drew him.

There is also a Lass character from first Opening. I'm SURE I saw her in a cameo appearance in Pokemon Center in some Johto episode. I'm not sure which one. She made a bunch of cameos on early episodes, AFAIK.

There was also a boy with V-Neck shirt. His shirt colour is different in every episode he appeared in. There was also MANY characters who looked like him but had different hair colour and were differently dressed.

Please post all your sightings of recycled characters in the series, if you noticed any.

He even got to battle Ash once, which is rare for a background character!

Oh, and then their was Mini-Ogata who was this rocker that lost to May TWICE, during the Harley's Revenge and Wakana contest!

What do you mean? Ogata is a Character Of The Day who reappeared. This is not considered as Recycled Character.

Was Salaryman a recycled character, cuz he sure looked familiar...

Ah, that's what we call similar character. Not exactly a Recycled Character but also interesting.

Was Salaryman a recycled character, cuz he sure looked familiar...

Well, when he was younger, he looked like Giovanni with long hair...which is really kinda sad, that the animators used *that* design again.
