One big hint a lot of people have picked up that Kyogre is blue and Groudon is red, mirroring the original games. Also, don't forget that Rayquaza is green, adding further credibility.

Also, a man in Lillycove town mentions that he is from Kanto.

Finally, the original games, Red and Blue are incompatible with Game Boy Advance games, which gives a great reason to justify remakes of a remake.

Has anyone else picked up on any other hints?

Seriously RUBIES and RED, SAPPHIRES are BLUE. Could it be any more blatant than that!?

Also Ru/Sa introduced a new Pokemon called Deoxys, which is based on DNA and is capable of adapting via genetic mutations. You can't tell me it isn't related to Mewtwo and the gene-splicing experiments that lead to its creation.

I just heard their will also be a Pokémon Green remake, with an entirely new move system than the first games!

The first gym in Ruby/Sapphire is a rock-type gym with Roxanne, just like Brock! That similarity and the others mentioned to Gen. I are pretty clear evidence that remakes are on the way.

The majority of Hoenns gym shared types with Kanto gyms rather than dark and Johto gyms. And let's look at the Johto gym types they used Fighting normal and flying. Normal and Flying seem to be a reference to Blue's first non starter and the Fighting dojo was originally a gym

We saw a lot of Pokemon that were completely unrelated to Pokemon from previous generations. When have we seen that before, hmm? Not since Gen I!

We also have a pair of games where they are both set in just one region, rather than two! Again, where have we seen that before? NOT SINCE GEN I. I think these are pretty good hints.

They should really bring back the Kanto Games, with Johto Pokemon in them as well, so that all Pokemon become available...

I don't ever recall hearing about games called Leafgreen and Firered, that were released YEARS AGO!!!! WHERE WERE YOU PEOPLE?
