This cards Pokepower called sacrifice has got me stumped, when i KO one of my own pokes in order to re obtain 2 energys from my discard pile and remove 8 damage counters, dose my opponent recieve a prize card?...

Yes. Your opponent does receive a prize card. Otherwise, Gigas X would be insanely broken.
