When I registered for my account, I remember it saying something about certain boards only being viewed by certain ages. What does that mean? Is there some kind of adults only board? Or is just a default message.

It's something of a default message. Having said that, we do have a few hidden boards only accessible to certain groups, at least one of which requires members to be reached the age of maturity.
