Well, time for introductions, I suppose. The last time I played Pokemon was Silver, also the last Pokemon game I owned. My first foray into the games were Pokemon Yellow, one of the grestest games ever made, bar none.

Well, while my love for the anime continued, I fell out of the games when RSE just didn't ignite those same flames. The DS came along and it was just too small for me. So, on the release day of the DSi XL, I had snatched up SoulSilver, the XL, obviously, Platinum, Diamond, I feel oddly obsessed.

I even went out and purchased a Best Buy three dvd pack of the first three Pokemon films. SoulSilver is a masterful remastered edition of a game I adored growing up, and the XL makes up for all of my previous DS complaints.

It honestly feels great to be an avid Pokemon fanatic again, especially after lurking around this place after so long.

Anyway, my main draw to join today is based entirely on the Black and White contest, which I look forward to every entry as I share my thoughts and speculations on a game I predicted when I was 12.

Not kidding, Black and White, I seriously have a notebook from grade school with game ideas for Pokemon, and that is on the front page. Along with story and plot outlines, incredibly simplified compared to what I do now.

Of which, I am a journalist and scriptwriter. Anyway, I, clearly, have alot to say, now, I'll just get to that contest.

Thanks for starting my obsession again. (I first read about SoulSilver on Bulbapedia)

Welcome to the forums here at Bulbagarden!

Quite the story you have there, it is very interesting.

That is pretty cool that you just so happen to have a journal with ideas for Pokemon Black and White Versions way back when. I hope you are enjoying the DSi XL, it looks pretty cool but I think I will stick with the normal DS that I have had for the past while especially since Nintendo is going to come out with the next handheld gaming system here soon.

Well, if you have any questions feel free to ask!

Yeah, that good old 3DS, just not interested in 3D gaming at all, so that one's a bust for me. I feel Nintendo finally reached their peak with the DSi XL, as it relieved most of my complaints. 3DS would only add complaints, 3D is simply a cheap gimmick I dare not be a part of. lol

Beyond that, it wasn't really a "just so happen", more like I had played yellow and the others, thought up Black and White (they were colors, fit a dual mold), and then came with up coorosponding plotlines for each, black representing a dark side, while White would have been Light. The Star Wars nerd in me no doubt trickling through.

Years of the prequels fueled a great deal of my fan fiction. Of, and then obligatory third rehash; Pokemon Gray. lol. Yeah, good times.

Aren't introduction threads so much fun?

Nice story. From the user name, you watch the Simpsons, right?

Anyway, welcome.

I am a fan of the Simpsons, and by this I mean a casual viewer of Animation Domination and the older seasons, but the reference is entirely unintentional, it is my XBox 360 user name Mr Sanders117, and my (real) name.

But, all that aside, What is Mr Sanders on the Simpsons? Because every other reference has been Colonel Sanders, or KFC on Live. The clever people you meet in Halo. lol
