Release date for Darkrai revealed in Pokémon UNITE — Darkrai joins the fray October 17

The release date for Darkrai, the next Pokémon to join the fray in Pokémon UNITE has been revealed — It will be available to play from October 17th. Darkrai is a Special-Attacking Ranged Speedster with Expert Difficulty. At the time of writing, no further details have on Darkrai have been officially announced, however it has been available in the public test server since August 29th. The Public Test app aims to gather data for balance changes and bug fixes, which will be utilized in future updates. The app is available only on Android devices in English in Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, or India.

Darkrai was originally announced to be joining Pokémon UNITE during the 2024 Pokémon World Championships Closing Ceremony, along with Armarouge and Psyduck. Armarouge will be joining the fray on September 12th, with Psyduck debuting in November. Armarouge and Psyduck hav been available in the public test server since August 22nd and September 5th, respectively.

Ranked Match Season 22 and Battle Pass Season 26 are also kicking off from September 5th. This will be marked in-game with release of new Holowear and player outfits.
