Looking around, I've started to notice quite a few differences popping up between the release dates for the games found on Bulbapedia and elsewhere. I've already found two additional dates for the US release of Red and Blue so it clearly isn't just Bulbapedia either.

Is there a way to find verifiably accurate dates? I'm particularly referring to the earlier dates (as far back as February 1996 since that was when Red and Green were released in Japan) as I imagine that is where most of the problems would be.
 
The Japanese dates are pretty much solid, but the other dates, hmm.
