A couple of the martial artists from there were involved in the Mortal Kombat franchise.

Ho Sung Pak (Superstar) played Liu Kang and Shang Tsung in the first MK game, and he reprised his Liu Kang role in MK II.

Chris Casamassa (Red Dragon) played Scorpion in the first MK film as well as in the Conquest Tv series.

Who exactly produced it? Because 4kids only owned the rights to it. And still do in fact. They were working on it before they aquired Pokemon and became huge
