Is It Possible To Delete a Poll on a thread and replace it with a new one?

I think the only way you can do that is by deleting the thread and creating a new one, with a different poll of your choice.

That's an option. Alternatively, you can ask a staff member to change it for you. A moderator of the section your poll is in would be able to create a new one and merge it with the existing thread, allowing the newer poll to replace the old one, and a higher-up like an Admin should be able to directly edit the poll or add/subtract options.

I've swapped out polls here and there, when necessary.

Problem is, you can't remove the voters from a poll. It would be easier to start over.

True, but what I meant was, a new poll can be made and merged without having to have a deleted post. When I've done that in the video game section, I created a new poll thread and then merged it with the old one. When merging two polls, you're asked which you want to keep.

That's how I combined and updated several of the scattered duplicate "Your favourite *whatever*" threads in the last week or so.

Please note: The thread is from 16 years ago.
Please take the age of this thread into consideration in writing your reply. Depending on what exactly you wanted to say, you may want to consider if it would be better to post a new thread instead.
