there should really be something ON the actual bulbapedia pages to report an issue, i had to recover my old forum infos, and there isnt a clear section to report issues on here. a big button right at the bottom of bulbapedia pages, to report incorrect info would be perfect.. ive found lots of errors, but never wanted to make a whole forum post about em.. ..anyway

Payback (move) - Bulbapedia, the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia

Generation VI
Payback inflicts double damage if the target switches out for a maximum of 100.

this is totally wrong ^ payback is based on user going second, not if it switches out. thats Pursuit. its gen 5 write up is prob wrong too

Generation V
Payback no longer deals double damage if the target switches out.

Bulbapedia is a wiki... People are meant to edit things themselves generally, not "report" it to staff or whatever. Feel free to sign up to Bulbapedia. Then you can make corrections or at least leave comments on talk pages if you want.

That said, I believe what is meant for Payback is not that Payback will hit the target as it switches, just that, switching is basically considered equivalent to the target "attacking" or taking its turn, so Payback is powered up when it hits the Pokemon that switches in.

The generational effect sections, other than the one for the move's introduction, list the changes that were made to the effect of the move:

In Generation IV: Payback's power doubles if the target attacks first, switches out (which is then applied to the Pokémon that is sent out to replace the original target), or the opponent uses an item for the target's turn.

In Generation V: Payback was changed so that its power no longer doubles against the replacement Pokémon when the original target switches out.

In Generation VI: Payback was changed once again to restore the move's original effect from Generation IV.
