We're aware that some people are unable to view the website, and we're looking to resolve this issue. It seems to be some sort of network issue, most likely with the Domain Name Server (DNS) system.
 
JTLYK, the site can be accessed by proxy servers. I wonder if the one fix from last time this happened still works...

Huh? I'm pretty sure I'm not using a proxy right now and I've been able to get on perfectly fine for the entire day.

If it is DNS, that's because whatever issue we're having hasn't propagated through every DNS network. The question is, are those who see it now ahead of or behind the curve?

Anyway, the old fix should still work, but no guarantees.
 
I couldn't get on last night from around 7-6 PM (Arizona time) It just did the classic "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage."

I don't know exactly what a proxy is, but I don't think I'm on one.

This happens every so often to me, I just thought it was my computer.
 
Had this happen today and either yesterday or Sunday. Both times in the early afternoon, I believe.
 
Didn't happen to me, but happened to several people on IRC, namely Geoffrey and Yoshi-san.
 
it happened to me too. it started for me around 12 PM(easten time)- 8:30PM
 
Happened all day yesterday (GMT time) and only works for me now 01:47 GMT time

that was a looong downtime. well, for me.

wasn't able to access the forums since what... 11:00 AM? :x
 
I wasn't able to get on past around 9pm GMT last night, but this morning it's working fine.
Guess I'm ahead of the game. ^.^
 
Ya I've been unable to get on since 9:00 Est and right now is the first time I've managed to come on.
 
It happened to me the whole day, but now everything is working fine.
