I'm looking for the Sugimori art from Pokémon Ranger. More specifically, I'm looking for the following characters:

All four Go-Rock Quads (Tiffany, Clyde, Garrett, Billy)

Aria (Fall City Ranger with long, looping blonde hair)

Solana (female player character)

Elita (Wintown Ranger Leader)

Gordor (old man in blue marching band uniform)

All of these are available from the official PUSA Strategy Guide, and all of them except Gordor are out there on the 'net as well (I think) I need these to do sprites.

Help is appreciated! :)

As far as I know, none of the Ranger art was done by Sugimori.

Well, whoever. All of them except Gordor were on the main Japanese site.....noone seems to have him, though.

Hmm yeah I don't remember ever seeing an artwork of him. I hope to get my US Ranger together with Prima's Guide soon. Maybe the guide book will have the artwork of him. If it has, I'll scan it.

If you get the PUSA guide (which was made by Prima) yes, it is there. He's in the section for the "The Wayward Wanderer!!" mission.

I cannot STAND the girl's hair. Why is it sticking straight up (besides the fact anime hair has a birth-given right to defy gravity)?!

Heh, my favorite's still Miror B. wearing the globe on his head :p

Question!

Which one seems to have more and better art: NP guides or PUSA guides? I was flipping thorugh the Prima/PUSA guide for Ranger and it seemed to have a lot more art than the NP guide... I ask this because the only thing I've ever really bought guides for anyway is the art and NP guides seem to be really lacking now-a-days in the color and art department in favor of boring white and black. >.>

It's not her entire hair. It's just her ponytail.... and anime ponytails do the weirdest things.
Ewwww those colors are totally fucked up.
The colors are fully saturated, which means they are bright, and not gray tinted like most of the Sugimori art. If you have photoshop or something, you can always make it more gray and less "fucked up".
I may have some Sugimori art.... I gotta check my giant collection.
Aha! Although it's kinda small

Hope that helps you.

I already found Elita, but damn, that really helps. Thanks!

I wonder why Gordor is so hard to find. The only other chief Pokémon villains I can think of that didn't get some kind of official art (at least that I've seen) are Evice and Greevil from Colosseum and XD.
