I'm trying to make a D/P Trainer Sprite of myself, but I'm getting the skin tones ALL WRONG. Can someone just give me some good hues to use?

hmmm...
I'm no sprite expert but I find it best to go lighter than normal when coloring. For some reason, stuff gets darker when you zoom out.
what about something like this to start:

areseus is right and make you're hair like it is and take a full body shot of yourself so i can try to digitalize the clothes for you're sprite
