Synthesis awoke inside his base. He looked over at his partner and smiled. Today, they were starting on a new, important mission to rescue the fair Cresselia from the out-of-control Darkrai in the Embedded Tower on Nightmare Island. He walked over and gently shook his partner awake.

"Morning"

"Did you pack for the mission like I told you too?" Synthesis asked. He already had a small satchel filled with berries and items, and was ready to leave.

Sy nodded.

"Yep did it last night."

"Good." Synthesis said. "We have to go meet with Alakazam and Espeon so they can explain our mission to us."

Sy nodded looking as ready as ever.

"Right"

"Let's go." he said, as he walked out of their base to Town Square. Waiting there was Alakazam. After he explained the mission (a journey to rescue Cresselia from Darkrai at the Embedded Tower on Nightmare Island), Synthesis set off into the forest.

"Now," he said. "Let's look at the map." After looking at the map, he said "According to the map, we have to navigate through this forest, walk along the beach, and then take a boat to Nightmare Island."

"Ok sounds good to me"

Suddenly, a large flock of Zubats flew overhead. Synthesis shrieked, and then wondered "What are the Zubat doing out so earlier? It probably has something to do with the fact that Cresselia can't control the moon anymore."

Sy nodded.

Yeah could be arrgh! Get off!"

Sy swatted a Zubat of his shoulder.

OOC: The server went down just as I tried posting the reply.

IC: Synthesis was bitten by several rogue Zubat. "OUCH!" he yelled. He sent a large ray of light, and knocked away all the Zubat. "What was that all about?" he thought.

"You ok?"

"I think so." Synthesis said. "I just hope that it doesn't become infected. At least it didn't turn into a vampire." he joked.

"Yeah tell me about it"

"Well, at least they're gone now." he said, relieved. "Once we rescue Cresselia, she'll regain control of the moon, and things like that won't happen."

"Now the map says that traveling through the forest should take several days. Did you pack enough for that long of a time?" Synthesis asked.
