Hey there! I think I first stumbled upon Bulbagarden a loooong time ago... I must've been twelve or eleven or so at the time. I went by the name of Rai, and was as I admit, a bit annoying back then ^^;; So if by some rare chance you remember me, apologies! I've..er... calmed down :)
Anyways... I stopped watching the site and pokemon in general for a while (long story), but I got back into it a couple years ago. My favorite is now Mudkip. ^^;;

Anyways! The main thing that had me wanting to come back was that I needed a good Pokemon community in general and old Bulbagarden was the first thing to pop into my head. I've been thinking more and more about giving my fanfic another try lately, so that'll probably be my first order of business :)

Anyways, glad to be back, and see you around!
 
You must be a veteran of the pre-hack days. Sorry, I do not know you, but welcome back. I too recently myself decided to walk along the path of nostalgia.
 
PASBL? Sorry, I don't recognise the acronym ^^;; I think it was... gosh, 3 to 4+ years ago. I *think* I remember watching Stadium come out while I had Bulbagarden as my homepage :)
 
I kinda know what you mean by, about stopping Pokemon for awhile. I did the same thing for a bit, because I thought I was to cool.
 
Yeah, the peer pressure was really chewing me up >.> Thankfully I'm over that now ^^ And so are many others, it seems. It's unfortunate kids go through that really condescending stage... :/

Pokemon did seem to have a downfall after the "old dream" saga that was the Kanto season. I know *something* was lost; everytime I watch the old episodes, I feel a spark of something lost and forgotten that I once knew so well in the old BMGF days. The new stuff isn't the same.
 
Oh, I know what you mean. All the 'era's (and consequently regions) have different feels to them, but there's something alluring about the original two. I was completely entranced when I watched Raikou: Legend of Thunder(bolt?); there was just something about it that was so... oh, I don't know. But watching that one is what got me interested in doing a fanfic in the first place.
Kanto, though... something about it being 'the one that started it all' is a trait that's hard to reproduce. Really, though, the newer ones really could have been worse...!
 
Welcome back to Bulbagarden! Rai sounds a bit familiar to me... hmmm. Anyway, I went by Jewelchu in those days... though I doubt you would remember me. ^^; I'm glad that you got back into Pokemon. It annoyed me so much how my friend virtually stopped liking it because everyone teased her for it. >_<; But she got back into it too. Anyway, enjoy your stay here!

It's got to be more than 3-4 years, if you don't recognise PASBL. More like 5-6. You would've been here either just before or around the same time as I was first made a mod of the orignal BMG's anime forum, before I even became an Admin. Oo;
 
Hum... Yeah, maybe.. Though I've never been good with acronyms ^^;; I could go into detail and try to pinpoint when I was first around, but I saw the site go through several redesigns, so I'm not sure which phase I actually saw first >_>
