If one character from the show could get one of their old pokemon back, who do you think it should be and which pokemon should it be? Personally, I think that Jesse should get her old Lickitung, Arbok, or Dustox back.
 
Misty and Togetic
Ash and Butterfree
Jessie and Dustox

I doubt any of them would happen though. :(

Ash and Butterfree are way up there. I'm pretty sure I cried at that episode. (For the record, I also cried in the episode where Pikachu nearly ran away with a hoard of other Pikachu.)

Misty's Togepi (even though it evolved, I still think of it as a Togepi) was a hard one to see let go. It was almost always somehow involved in the plot, Misty was attached to it practically at the hip, and it saved them a couple of times.

Oh! Oh! James and Growlie. That made me cry, too, in the flashback in Holy Matrimony, when Growlie saved James. Victreebel would be cool to have back, too. Carnivine just seems like a corny, weirdly-voiced version of Victreebel, and I don't like it. But that's just me.
 
Animé forum is where this should go. But for creatures and pokémon that need to be reunited?

Team Rocket and:

Pikachu.
 
Ash & Lapras, Ash & Butterfree, Misty & Togetic, Brock & Vulpix, James & Growlithe, James & Victribell, James & Weezing, Jessie & Arbok, Jessie & Dustox, Jessie & Lickitung.

It would be nice if somehow that could happen and they got their pokemon back, but I don't think that's gonna happen. =(

To answer the question I say Ash and Pidgeot and Dawn and Ambipom. Especially the former.
 
Ash should get back Primeape and Larvitar. Jessie should get back Lickitung and have it evolved into Lickilicky.
 
Even though it was short, they brought back Gliscor. That's all I could have asked for.

Ash's Lapras was so nice, and I did think it was kinda annoying how Ash kept losing Pokemon more than he gained for a while.

Edit: Oh yeah forgot about Larvitar, he raised it from an egg it should still by loyal.
 
The only one I've wanted was Ash and Gliscor, but it already happened in DP185.

I want Dawn and Ambipom, Jessie and Dustox, James and Cacnea and Ash and Butterfree to reunite.
