Okay, I found out this man:

played the voice of Jirarudan. So I decided to see the movie again as I had purchased it, the Jirachi, Celebi and Mewtwo movies in Japan two years ago, and I found out in has English language options. Wow, I'm actually surprised, since it's the only way to see the movie in widescreen.

I guess this is old news, but I'm very surprised.

EDIT: And Mewtwo no Gyakushuu has English options as well. Wow.

If you saw it for Kaga, you should hear him sing Jirarudan's image song. DUDE.

>_> I didn't actually watch the whole movie again... where in the movie does Kaga sing it, or where on the DVD or net can I find it? I only skimmed through the good parts i.e. Kaga's parts. :D

Polish DVD of Pokemon 2 is also in widescreen and contains English audio track... probably sped up, but that's better than nothing.

But hey, what about cut scene with Tracey in it?

If by "English options," you mean subtitles, right? Those usually only show up in bootlegs.

Yeah, I got a Lati@s movie with subtitles and thought it was official, they were good though. Except apparently Wanioko says "totodile"?

(then again, Totodile said 'I'm sorry' in the english version! 0.0)

And Jiarudan has a AWESOME image song, I love it. Ware was collecta!

No, the first three Japanese DVDs, or at least, their rereleases, IIRC, came with the English dub track.

What happened with the edits made in the English dub, then?

They're still there; it's a different movie file. For example in Revelation Lugia, the Power of One theme is still there when what's-her-face plays the instrument.

Too bad none of the later movies come with the language option. My favorite movies are still the Jirachi and Celebi ones, and it's a pain watching those in full-screen mode.
