I wonder if that'd un-nerve a few governments....

"Oh noskis, not another revolutionski! Get Da Vodka!"

LOL!

Still, this does show that Nintendo have got people's interest. I still don't think they will rocket past Sony as they hope, but this could be an indication that they now have the potential to move forward in the console wars in the next generation.

That doesn't seem likely to be this year.

There are no major Game exhibitions featuring Nintendo for the rest of this year and none have been announced by Nintendo like their Seattle show this time last year, coinciding with the Tokyo Game Show (and of course naming Diamond and Pearl).

The biggest likelihood we have is the start of next year, a pre-E3 show maybe.

And it was stated by a Nintendo spokesperson earlier in the week (for the life of me, I cannot remember who) said he'd be very disappointed if he wasn't playing the next Mario this E3.

Although maybe Mario '128' is a bad example... considering Nintendo have promised it to be at every E3 since the launch of the Gamecube. Iwata wants it as a launch title though, and is probing Miyamoto with big hot pokers to get it done so maybe, just maybe it'll happen...
