Lumiose City, a bustling city in the Kalos region and one of the most well known and biggest cities in the whole region and the world itself, known for having lots of famous monuments and buildings such as the Prism Tower and its very own Lumiose Museum.

Located in North Boulevard stood the famous and prestigious Richissime Hotel, one of the biggest and more luxurious hotels in the world. The building came with a large pool on the roof and had its own casino, spa and even stores that sold things that their guests might want.

“Oh my god I can’t believe we’re really going to be staying in Richissime Hotel!” Valerie squealed happily, her black hair flowing around as she took as many pictures of the hotel as she could.

“Yep, this is going to be so great, I’m glad the principal is paying our stay,” Stacy smiled happily as well, she and Valerie looking at each other before high fiving.

“How about you girls help out with the luggage instead of screaming like idiots,” Darren groaned as he, Reggie, Fin and Jack were taking care of getting the bags out of the vans that had brought them to the hotel along with Miko.

“Though it is amazing for us to get to stay in Lumiose for a few days, this city is so romantic,” Marie pointed out as she looked around and scanned the city, she walking over to Jack to give him a peck on the cheek.

“What are you doing that for?” Jack jumped with surprise, almost dropping the bags he was carrying as he hid his blush.

“Just because,” Marie giggled.

“Well this city is the city of love…sort of,” Fin smirked, crossing his arms as he dropped the bags that he had carried out and winked at a pair of passing girls. “I could have some fun here if we’re staying for a while.”

“Yo, Romeo, carry your bags,” Reggie groaned at his best friend’s laziness before he walked past him.

“Sooooo meeeeeaaaan, Miko your boyfriend’s being mean to me again!” Fin whined as he turned to a sighing Miko.

“Carry the bags Fin,” Miko laughed.

“I’m glad that you’re all having fun but you have to remember we did come here for a reason,” Freed said, he had been speaking with the driver and was now helping out the other boys in taking the baggage out. “The Media Club got a chance to come here in order to make an article on the museum’s new acquisition, so you have to remember to do your work,” he smiled at the group.

"So this is yours and Phoenix's home," Junine commented, looking up at Rafe. "Its beautiful," she told him, some wind blowing her snow colored hair a bit. She wore her usual Suicune blue, Ho-oh ranked jacket over a black shirt and some white shorts with black sneakers. The weather being perfect for jeans or shorts.

"Not as beautiful as you," Rafe replied to her, looking down to meet her eyes.

"Hmm? Sorry I didn't hear you. What's not as beautiful?"

"I said if we have time then maybe I can show you some of the more beautiful sights. You might want to listen better," he teased, lying out of embarrassment.

Walking behind them and rolling his eyes was Kaori, while next to him was Jackie who just shook his head at the two, and Julian who made gagging motions.

Midori shot the three glares from a bit further away, while next to her Zero was chuckling along with Robin.

"Don't worry you will have time to explore, but remember you are here representing our academy," Sicilia chided them.

"How could they forget in those coats?" Kuro asked with a slight drawl and sarcastic tone, referencing the uniform jackets his students wore, thus earning him a glare from his old friend.

"Come now children behave and stop fighting," Phoenix told them jokingly earning him an eye roll from the woman. He along with Kuro let out laughter at the woman, enjoying teasing her. "In other news here we are. Hotel Richissme!" he exclaimed from the front of the group.

Everyone minus Rafe stared in awe at the hotel. "All right this is so exciting. A region I've never been to, and new places to see. YES!" Jackie exclaimed, causing many around them to stare.

"You have to suffer through the museum first," Zero told him, smiling at the boy, the rest of the group however not wanting to be seen with the eccentric boy, had already started heading into the hotel, acting as though they didn't know him.

"Eh! Hey guys wait up!" he yelled running towards them, only to crash into some brunette carrying bags.

"Ahahaha, nice one dummy," Julian laughed, earning a smack upside his head from Junine.

"Not funny. What if he hurt some grass type," she commented.

"Or one of those cute girls," Kaori purred, looking at the girls that seemed to be in the same group as the boy.

"And this trip is already in hell," Sicilia sighed.

 

[Flaze]

"Ow!" Reggie yelled as he was thrown to the floor, the bags in turn falling over his body. His friends noticed this, prompting Miko and Claudia carrying Chigon to run over to his side.

"You okay Reggie?" Miko asked with a worried expression as she tried to help her boyfriend up while the glasses girl took care of the bags that had fallen around him. Reggie just groaned once more as he rubbed his head, noticing that Chigon was licking his hand to make sure he was okay.

"Chi?" Chigon pointed out, worried as well.

"I'm okay body," Reggie nodded his head before petting the little dragon Pokemon, finally noticing the other group and standing up. "Sorry about that, I guess I didn't see you fast enough to dodge," he chuckled shyly as he turned to look at Jackie.

"Yeah don't worry, he's used to falling by now," Fin chimed in, putting his arm around a now frowning Reggie. "Seems like you guys are also on a field trip," he said as he looked at the group before turning to the girls.

"And there he goes again," Valerie frowned while crossing her arms. "Where's Darren?"

"He went to the bathroom around the time Reggie fell to the floor," Allison replied simply while shrugging. "He said he didn't wanna be around for when things got crazy."

However the group from Tower Academy was silent as they noticed the strange dragon pokemon. Immediately everyone looked at Phoenix and Rafe, their expressions asking if the pokemon was a Kalos one.

The two in return looked at each other, easily revealing that no one recognized the species.

Jackie marked the first to speak. "That pokemon, I've never seen it before. What kind is it and what's its name? Can it evolve?"

"Its so cute," Junine said walking up.

"What do you think Midori?" Zero asked the younger girl, away from everyone's hearing. The two trainers fennekin and eevee sat at their feet, while beside Jackie his golden Buizel oohed and awed with him. Robin's partner smeargle sat on his head, watching as the boy drew the dragon dog.

"He was worried for a moment, but so happy at the attention now. And he's absolutely adorable," she giggled. "They have a good bond."

"Yes they do. I wonder though with such a mysterious pokemon if it reacts like others," he mused.

"If it covers just us with kisses then it will. If it covers others then my guess is he's just friendly."

Sicilia watched the scene for a moment before walking over and putting her hand over Jackie's mouth. "Apologies for my students," she said tapping Junine to back away some. "Why don't you two stop bothering him."

"Come now Sicilia. I'm just as curious about this pokemon. I wonder what its egg groups are, and its age. So many wonders," Phoenix commented.

Chigon was actually very eager at getting attention and as thus kept looking around and smiling at everyone that petted and got close to him. "Well he sure got popular fast," Valerie pointed out with a bit of a chuckle before seeing Sicilia moving th egroup aside so that they would leave Chigon alone.

"It's okay, he likes the attention," Reggie pointed out to the other group as he picked up Chigon. "His name's Chigon and he's um....what are you again?" Reggie asked the little dragon, who just shrugged as it looked back at its master. "All we know is he's a dragon and normal type, oh and he's a year and a half old, not much from there though."

"That and he's a little troublemaker," Valerie giggled as she petted the baby dragon, who just beamed at her in return.

"I'm assuming its the only one that has been seen. A disappointment really meaning I cannot obtain a specimen to dissect, unless it can breed with ditto..." Phoenix mused to himself.

"How about not dissecting any pokemon. I still haven't recovered from those classes," Zero told him obviously disturbed.

"Honestly children today. They can't handle anything," Phoenix commented walking into the hotel, knowing they needed to check in.

"Ugh I can't stand him. There's nothing good about him other than his body," Junine mumbled, following the teacher's suit knowing that it was his way of saying let's go now.

"Sorry for the trouble," Sicilia said towards Freed giving a slight flirtatious smile as she followed the others, dragging Jackie with her. Midori and Zero on the other hand stayed a moment after, walking up to chigon, each separately putting their hands on him.

"Make sure you take good care of him a nurture your bond. With a special guy like this, its better if you make sure your bond is strong," Zero told him.

"And make sure to keep him super happy along with your other pokemon. That's when they're at their strongest," was Midori's advice before she and Zero left after their group.

 

[Flaze]

"No, it's okay," Freed nodded his head at Sicilia, feeling Stacy elbow him while no one was looking. "Ow," he groaned while rubbing his ribs, only to see Stacy stick her tongue out at him.

"I'll remember that," Reggie smiled at Zero and Midori and nodded his head.

"They were a nice bunch weren't they?' Miko said, she looking at the group as they walked off. They hadn't expected to meet another group from an academy on their trip, so things had definetily gotten more interesting.

"They seem kind of familiar though," Claudia said while adjusting her glasses.

"I was curious about the shiny Buizel that kid was carrying though, it seems interesting," Jack pointed out, though he didn't really seem to care about what had happened.

"He seemed like a strong Pokemon, I wouldn't mind having a battle against that kid," Allison smirked and put her hands on her hip.

"They're not really impressive," the group raised their heads, noticing Darren had walked back to them, though he was yawning and seemed to be bored with the whole thing. "They just seem like an annoying bunch if you ask me," he shrugged.

 

[Midorikawa]

"Ooh he was cute. Don't you agree Midori?" Junine asked the younger girl, receiving a nod as a reply.

"Who was cute?" Rafe asked, attempting to look innocent in his reasons.

"The white haired guy that just passed by," Junine told him.

"Is that so..." Rafe trailed off. Kaori smirked knowing the taller boy was jealous.

"Here room keys. Kaori and Rafe, Zero and Robin, Julian and Jackie, Midori and Junine. No complaints. Kuro and I will be in the same room and Sicilia will have her own. Settle in and then we'll meet in the restaurant to eat," Phoenix commanded them, walking ahead to his own room after tossing each one their keys.

The pairs each went to their rooms to settle in. While Zero, Robin, and the girls had no issues, the other boys well let's say it took a while for them to stop trying to kill each other for them to meet downstairs in the restaurant. Richissme actually had two restaurants. One was fancier than the other, while one had a bar with a dance floor and much more lower class food. This was to give residents of the hotel a "low class experience" without the low class.

"Enjoy yourselves and ignore Sicilia," Kuro told them. Immediately Zero and Junine grabbed their juniors to dance while the other four simply found somewhere to sit. Sicilia decided to wander around herself, while Kuro found Phoenix at the bar. "School trip we can't drink."

"I'm not, at least nothing alcoholic. I was simply trying this virgin drink. Apparently it's quite popular. Try it," he replied pushing the drink towards Kuro, smiling as though nothing was up.

Kuro tentatively took the drink, taking a sip before speaking. "That's delicious," he said gulping it down. "Can I get another?"

Phoenix watched his friend with disbelief. The drink he had given him was supposed to be full of alcohol that you could taste, yet Kuro drank it like it was nothing. Shocked he simply walked away almost zombified, seeing Kuro convince Sicilia to try the drink and then the two of them both drinking more.

 

[Flaze]

"All right so here's how the situation with the rooms is going to go down," Freed had gathered the group up in the hallway of the floor they would be staying in, though he had told them to stick to the walls so that people could pass. "We've got two rooms with three beds and a sofa thanks to our kind principal," he pointed out before pointing to two rooms that stood parallel to each other. "The room on the left is where the boys and I will be staying and the room on the right is where the girls and Stacy will be staying."

"I never get to have a room of my own," Stacy sighed with exasperation as Miko and Marie patted her shoulder, though it was mostly out of instinct.

"So I gotta share a room with all these guys?" Fin frowned as he looked at Jack, Reggie and Darren, who just turned away from him and scoffed. "I saw that you white haired bastard!"

"Just shut up and accept it, you can sleep on the floor if you want though," Darren shrugged, not really caring about the whole matter.

"Now don't fight guys, we get to be in a hotel like this one to begin with, so we should be pretty thankful right?" Reggie pointed out, chuckling nervously as he got between his two friends.

"All right, how about we all get settled in and then you guys can go have some free time," Freed suggested, getting a round of cheers from the rest of the group as they went into their room.

After they had all settled in the group decided to go down to the lobby and explore the hotel a little bit more. The two noticed that the hotel had two restaurants and proceeded to decide what they would each do. Fin, Valerie, Miko, Darren and Freed decided to check out the low class restaurant while Claudia, Reggie, Jack, Allison and Marie decided to look around the hotel. Stacy had decided to look around too, though she preferred to stick by herself rather than stay with the others.

"All right, take care of yourself guys," Miko said before kissing Reggie and patting his back, giving him a smile as he and his group walked off along with Chigon. "All right time for us to go."

"Yeah let's go have some fun!" Fin announced proudly as he led the group into the restaurant.

"I just want something to eat, I'll go back to the room afterwards," Darren pointed out.

"It couldn't kill you to enjoy yourself a bit more you party pooper," Valerie stuck her tongue out at Darren. "I do wish Rafael could've come here with us, he would've loved to visit Lumiose."

"All right guys, don't have too much fun," Freed winked at the group before pointing towards the bar. "I'll be by the bar if you need me."

"Don't worry sir, we'll be all right," Valerie nodded her head, noticing that Darren had gone to ask for some food.

Kaori watched as the other academy came in, and he smirked. Getting up he released his mightyena before walking over to the group. "Well this must be fate to meet here again. I didn't introduce myself earlier. I'm Kaori Ballista and this is my partner Blitzkrieg. What would your names be?" he asked giving a charming smile, directed at Valerie and Miko.

Rafe watched from his spot, eyes on Junine as she danced with Julian. He was hoping she would release Julian soon so that he could ask her to dance. At least that was until he saw where Kaori went. Brilliant. He just had to be double ranked. Sighing he got up walking up to the other boy. "Is he bothering you ladies?" he asked them.

At the bar seeing Freed, Kuro walked over. "You are the guy from earlier. How are you? Though I didn't think any teacher would be drinking," he commented, drinking the same kind of drink as earlier, still not realizing that it was alcoholic.

 

[Flaze]

"Oh hello there," Valerie and Miko turned to look at Kaori, remembering that he was part of the other academy group that was at the hotel along with them. "I'm Valerie and this is Miko," Valerie said as Miko bowed her head politely at Kaori. She then looked at his Mightiyena with a curious smile. "Wow, your Mightyena looks really well trained," she said, petting the Pokemon gently.

Miko then noticed Rafe before replying with a low chuckle. "It's okay, we were meaning to talk to you guys anyways, it's pretty funny to find out another group like us is here," she said while looking over at Rafe.

Fin had decided to enjoy himself too so he ended up going over to the dance floor. He looked at Junine, a grin crossing his face as he walked over to her and the guy she was dancing with. "May I have the next piece m'lady, that is if your friend wouldn't mind," he grinned at her before looking over at Julian.


Freed looked at Kuro for a moment, remembering that he was one of the teachers with the other group. "Oh, well having to deal with grading and watching over clubs and such can get tiring," he pointed out as he turned to Kuro. "As long as I keep the kids in check I'm sure it'll be fine," he said before stretching his hand towards him. "I'm Siegfried but you can call me Freed."

 

[Midorikawa]

"Yeah I raised him from a pup," Kaori told her, smiling as he watched his partner nuzzle the girl and wag his tail. "He's my best bud." He bent down scratching the dark type behind his ear, causing his foot to thump. Kaori laughed at his partner's antics. "Anyways," he said standing up. "Maybe you ladies would like to dance with us?"

Rafe looked down at Kaori confused. Dance with them? The only one he wanted to dance with was Junine. He looked back over to see her talking to another guy, Julian sitting down...? Did that mean she sent him away. Why else would he not be by her. Well then in that case...he turned back to Miko and Valerie, bowing slightly and offering a smile. "Would either of you ladies care to dance with me?" he asked them, his positioning and stance along with his expression made him seem like a prince charming.

Junine just shook her head at Julian. The boy had took the opportunity of Fin to ditch out on dancing. And of course there was Zero and Midori there laughing. Of course she knew they were laughing at the prospect of her harsh rejection of the guy. At least she was going to until she saw Kaori flirting again, and Rafe judging by his position, offering the girls a dance....wait what? He never asked her that, like that. She frowned at the site, before changing to a smile and returning her look to the boy in front of her. "You know what I would like to dance with you," she told him, getting some satisfaction from the look of shock on Zero's and Midori's face. Especially Zero considering how hard it was to shock him.

"I'm Kuro Wolf," Kuro told him, the Wolf sounding more like woof, as he shook his hand. "You're lucky. I wish I could drink, but the headmaster would know and kill me. Literally and I rather live," he said taking another drink.

 

[Flaze]

Valerie and Miko looked at each other, a small blush going through their faces when they saw Rafe. "I guess one dance couldn't hurt right?' Valerie pointed out with a chuckle before nodding her head and walking over to Rafe and nodding their heads. "It could be pretty good."

"Yeah I guess one dance is okay," Miko nodded her head in agreement with Valerie.

"Awesome," Fin replied with a charming smile before stretching out his hand and grabbing Junine's. "It'd be fun, don't worry."

"Well I guess I'm lucky the principal I work for is only a couple of years older than me," Freed laughed before receiving a bottle of beer from the bartender.

 

[Midorikawa]

"Lovely," Rafe smiled again, leading both the girls onto the dance floor, leaving Kaori in shock.

Phoenix walked up to Sicilia, his expression one that wasn't good. "Sicilia what are you drinking?"

"Some drink Kuro gave me. It's delicious. Have you tried it?"

"No mind if I do?"

"Sure," she said as she handed the glass to him. Phoenix took a small sip, curious about the drink he had tricked Kuro into drinking. The moment it hit his tongue, he spit it out, the taste of alcohol heavy in it. "I'm guessing you don't like it," she raised her eyebrow, unamused.

"No I don't. Hey you know what. Maybe we should let the kids have their jackets off for tonight. Its going to get warm with the dancing. Want to help me bring their coats up to their rooms?" he asked hopefully. Kuro was already getting drunk and probably unsalable, Sicilia on the other hand, well she would be easier to deal with if he didn't get her drunk.

"Sure why not," she sighed, rising from her seat and following Phoenix as they took the coats of the students.

"Do we have to stay here or can we explore the hotel some?" Julian asked, really not wanting to stay a moment longer.

The two teachers looked at each other for a moment before answering. "Okay. Help us bring the coats back first. At least that way you won't be wearing them if you guys get in trouble," Sicilia told them. Jackie, Julian and Robin followed them as they went to head to their rooms to return the coats.

Meanwhile with Junine. "One moment," she told Fin, seeing Phoenix calling her over for a moment along with Rafe, Zero, Midori and Kaori. She was half hopeful they would have to leave, but the teacher merely was offering to take their coats so they wouldn't have to wear them. They of course accepted before going back to their own things. "Sorry," she told him, taking his hand. Without her jacket covering her up, it showed that her outfit was a black three quarter sleeve low cut top and white shorts, with black sneakers. "Now shall we dance," she told him with a smile.

Kaori in the meantime, avoiding the teachers at the bar, paid of the tender to allow him to drink, and then sat down unknowingly by Darren, with his alcoholic beverage.


"Is that so? That sounds lovely. Especially compared to the old hag that is my school's headmaster. You know she practically blackmailed me into teaching, along with two others."

 

[Flaze]

"Actually we hadn't asked this before but what school are you guys from?' Miko asked as she and Valerie began dancing alongside Rafe.

Darren noticed Kaori from the corner of his eye while chewing on the pizza that he had ordered. He stared at Kaori, not really caring as he inspected him for a moment. Then with a low uncaring tone he finally spoke. "Who are you?" he said with curiosity.

"Yes we shall," Fin nodded his head and smiled before grabbing Junine's hand once more and beginning to dance. "Though you'll have to forgive me, it's been a bit of a while, we don't really get many chances to dance."

"That doesn't seem too good,' Freed pointed out as he looked at Kuro and the drink on his hand. "By the way, how many of those have you had?"

 

[Midorikawa]

"We're from Tower Academy in the Johto Region. Its actually on its own island in the region. What about you two?" he asked in return, handling dancing with the two with ease.

"Same with us unless you count free time, but the only person I know that I would be willing to dance with, that dances in their free time, doesn't ask me," she told him, her tone containing annoyance. "Sorry. Just ignore like anything I say about some idiot guy. Please."

"Hmm." Kaori looked over at Darren, not realizing that he had sat down next to the boy. "Um...Kaori, and my mightyena is Blitzkrieg," he told him, nodding to the dark type laying at his feet. "What about you?" he asked taking another gulp of his drink.

"Umm....Not sure. Don't matter though its a virgin drink. My friend slash fellow teacher wouldn't give me something with alcohol. At least not something where I wouldn't be able to tell if there is alcohol in it, and this definitely doesn't have any. I can tell by the delicious taste," he explained, his accent getting thicker.

 

[Flaze]

"Oh we're from Elemental Academy," Valerie replied clamly, a bit surprised that Rafe was able to dance with two girls without any difficulty. "It's located in a spot that connects it to Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh, it's an island as well actually," she pointed out, noting the fact that there wasn't just one but two academies located in islands. 'Guess that must be a thing."

"We came here in order to get a look at that book that was admitted to Lumiose Museum," Miko pointed out from her side. "We're the Media Club of our school, though two of our friends are from another club but our principal invited them anyway."

"Don't worry, I have my own problems with someone," Fin pointed out as he looked at Valerie from the corner of his eye. "Though I assume the guy you're talking about isn't in a relationship at least."

Darren didn't reply, realizing that Kaori was one of the people from the other academy group that he had seen before. "I'm Darren," he pointed out calmly before taking another bite from his pizza. "Should you be drinking?"

"I have a feeling you could be wrong about that Kuro," Freed pointed out, now seeming worried that Kuro might actually become drunk and he'll have to deal with it.

"Well that pool was interesting," Reggie said as he dried his hair as well as Chigon. Claudia and Allison were just staring at him as they walked after him, though Allison seemed to be repenting for something. "Allison next time please don't have your Swampert use Surf in a pool," he groaned.

"I thought he needed to stretching his limbs and stuff you know how it is," Allison frowned as she kept herself from looking at Reggie.

"Well at least everything turned out fine, hopefully Chigon doesn't catch a cold," Claudia said as she petted the toy dragon, who proceeded to sneeze.

 

[Midorikawa]

"It seems using islands helps in their opinions. Can't say I disagree. I prefer to be separate from those who live on in cities and such as I attend class. As for my group. Seems we came for the same location, the museum. I'm not really sure how are group was chosen, other than the fact that four of us are close friends since our first year, and then the other four are our juniors and then in a way friends...its complicated I guess..."Rafe trailed off.

"Well that makes me feel better about dancing with you. But no he's not. Instead he has a lot of girls confessing to him all the time, and attracts them with ease. Guys as well, and it doesn't help that he says gender doesn't matter. It makes me feel pathetic to feel for him...but I can't help it," she sighed heavily. "What about this girl of yours?"

"Ha! My teacher is drunk, my other two are missing, the bartender is payable off, and I got backstabbed by my fellow classmate, just because he is jealous," Kaori bit out taking another drink. "Nice to meet you by the way," he tacked on.

"Naw. I'm not wrong. Trust me I've dealt with lots of tricks and this ain't one of them. Phoenix would be snickering and laughing if it was."

After putting away the coats, the group split up. Phoenix went on his way to return to take care of Kuro, Sicilia elsewhere, and then the other three walked through the halls, running into Reggie and friends. "Huh? Its you guys again," Jackie said upon seeing them. Pyrite and Van Gogh ran up, greeting them, especially Chigon.

"Well in our case it being an island helps with...other problems." Valerie pointed out, remembering all the things that they had gone through the year before at the archipelago, the fact that it was on an archipelago people normally didn't look at it made it easier to cover up the story of what had happened.

"What did you come to the museum for?' Miko asked with a raised eyebrow as she looked at Rafe.

"Well we didn't really get along we fought a lot and got into arguments a lot,' Fin pointed out, feeling a bit relief that he was actually able to talk to someone about Valerie. "Then one day this crazy thing happened and we kind of...slept together, at first I thought that it was nothing but I started to actually like her, but when I was going to confess I realized she had already found someone else," he pointed out with a frown.

"Same here I guess," Darren nodded his head before looking at the Mightyena. "Your Mightyena is strong."

'What if he didn't know when he gave it to you?" Freed asked with a raised eyebrow, now getting a better look at Kuro as he noticed his eye.

"We can say the same thing," Allison pointed out, surprised that they had come to encounter the other group once more.

"Hello," Reggie waved to the others as he finished drying Chigon off. "What are you guys up to?"

Rafe was about to ask what Valerie meant, but then Miko asked her question before he could. He figured he would bring it up later, preferably a time when they weren't moving around. "Honestly I don't know. I was just told with my friends that we were chosen to go on a trip. I'm actually surprised they even let me out of my school. Though it is nice to be back in my home city for a bit," he explained.
