So, I thought I would finally post my team in here. It's probably going to be a lot of fail, since I'm rather new to competitive battling, but we'll see.

NOTE: Mostly I'm looking for tips on synergy, since I'm useless. But any other criticism will be fine.

Mamoswine
Ability: Snow Cloak
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Attack / 252 Speed
Item: Focus Sash
Moveset:
- Ice Shard
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Endeavor

Basic Lead. Set up Stealth Rock and then use him until he goes. I normally get to KO at least one Pokemon, especially "anti-leads" due to Sash.

Azelf (Blue Pixie)
Nature: Timid
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Special Attack / 252 Speed
Item: Leftovers or Expert Belt (I wish to know which I should use)
Moveset:
- Thunderbolt
- Fire Blast
- Psychic
- Nasty Plot

A basic sweeper, really. Send him in on revenge / something that wouldn't 2HKO him, Nasty Plot and then sweep.
Also, yes, I use Fire Blast. I don't care about the accuracy, so please do not recommend Flamethrower.

Starmie (Death Star)
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Timid
EVs: 136 HP / 156 Defense / 216 Speed
Item: Leftovers
Moveset:
- Rapid Spin
- Recover
- Thunderbolt
- Surf

Basic Rapid Spinner. Normally sent in after Mamoswine faints to get rid of SR / Spikes that the lead set up. If nothing was set up, I send in the best counter to that other person's lead.

Bibarel (Derpzor)
Ability: Simple
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 HP / 100 Attack / 154 Special Defense
Item: Life Orb
Moveset:
- Return
- Waterfall
- Curse
- Yawn (I'm not too sure about this slot, so I just slapped in Yawn)

Well, something different. This guy, especially after a Baton Pass, has swept teams for me it's unreal. Of course, he's quite frail, so I use him late game.

Heatran
Nature: Naive
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Special Attack / 252 Speed
Item: Choice Specs
Moveset:
- Flamethrower
- Earth Power
- Dragon Pulse
- Explosion

Yes, I was Choice Specs instead of a Scarf, which is recommended for this set. This is because I prefer my power over speed.

Ninjask (Too Slow!)
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 156 HP / 252 Attack / 100 Speed
Item: Leftovers
Moveset:
- X-Scissor
- Substitute
- Baton Pass
- Swords Dance

Yeah...fun. I don't use him as a lead as most people have something on their lead to stop Ninjask. I send him out Middle / Late game against something that can't kill him well (normally something locked into a fighting move).
Paired with my Bibarel, this guy is killer.

Well ... there we go.
*waits to get bombarded with rocks*

Thanks in Advance for any suggestions.

You can test it out on me if you want.

i like the idea of using ninjask late game, if you use him right he can end a game very swiftly

wow, leftovers on azelf. actually, it's a pretty good idea :) it'll stop a few potential KO's, i like it :)

the rest of your team looks brill :) though i have to be honest, i think you could have a better baton pass recepricant than bibarel. think about heracross, or tyranitar

Bibarel gets double boosts from any Stat Ups though, so he has thought about it. Lucario's always good however.

Physical Octillery with Suction Cups could be nice.

ahhh now i didnt know that :O hmmm that is good, but i still think somthing like heracross, tyranitar or lucario would be better

not sure how good octillery would be, as if your doing it mid-late game, there wont be much hazing going on

Hm, I'll make sure I try Tyranitar, Lucario or Heracross.
I was actually considering Tyranitar at one point for Pursuit, but I'm not sure how well that would knowing how bad my prediction skills are.

And about Octillery, I'm not sure. XP I've never really looked him up much.

Very dumb question: What is hazing exactly?

whirlwind and roar, octillery stops that with it's ability suction cups :)

Ohhh, I see. I thought Suction Cups meant you couldn't lose your item. <_< *stupid* Just remembered the ability I was thinking about is Sticky Hold.

Anyway, I'll consider him and Tyranitar. ;O

Actually, Whirlwind and Roar are considered pHazing (pseudo-hazing). Haze is a move that eliminates all stat changes. Whirlwind and Roar do this too, but with the added affect of making the opponent switch out (hence pseudo-hazing).

Just a technical problem there. Wouldn't want someone bringing in their (rare) Weezing and when it (rarely) uses Haze you'd be like "Oh it's okay I have Suction Cups!!!".

Yeah...

Although I like the idea of using Ninjask late game, there is a reason people use it as a lead. Even though yes, there is a lot ready to prepare for it. The problem is that it loses 50% from Stealth Rock. This coupled with substitute lets you only use Substitute once if you take any damage at all. Because of this, I actually would consider Protect over it on this set, since if you take less than 12.5% from the switch in move (like a fighting move), then you can switch in a second time if necessary.

Unless you're certain you keep SR off the field with Starmie, I'd suggest this switch.

Edit: Adamant Ninjask with 156 Spd gives you 395 speed, enough to beat max speed Aerodactyl. However, if you switch in, you get an automatic speed boost before you do any speed checks. With this on your side, even with a neutral nature and no EVs, you should be able to switch in on and outrun Scarf Gengar.

Good team, but may I make a suggestion?

Starmie
Timid / Choice Scarf / Natural Cure
- Surf
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Rapid Spin
252 Sp. Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP

IMO you could replace Bibarel's Yawn with Amnesia. It's a godly wall when you think about it.

it's a timid speed is sufficient >.< what it needs is Choice Specs
take off Rapid Spin for some Psychic or Grass Knot
