A huge earthquake rocked Littleroot Town for the fifth time this week. Calvin and Camille were outside, training the Pokemon they'd been given. Calvin had a Minun, and Camille a Plusle. The two electric-types jumped up on their Trainers' shoulders while they braced themselves on a rock. "That's it!" They went to find their friend.

Andrew had fallen to the ground, not seeing the earthquake coming. In truth, he should've. These things were becoming annoyingly frequent. Littleroot didn't have this many of the things. Kaiser, Andrew's Treecko, hadn't appeared to be bothered by the tremor at all. Probably because he was able to cling to just about anything.

He then saw Calvin and Camille. "That's, what, the sixth time this week? I don't know, I've started to lose count," he said, his voice bitter.

"Fifth." The twins corrected, helping him up. "I think we should find the source of what's going on."

OOC: Details here.

"Normally I would blame it on a fault line or something along those lines..." Andrew said. "But even those places don't have earthquakes this freakin' often. There's gotta be a different problem, and I'm all for finding it out."

Meanwhile, Kaiser had fallen asleep on a nearby rock, obviously not caring as to what was going on.

"Well, let's go." The twins said. "We need to at least find out the problem, if not eliminate it." Plusle and Minun modded, sparking eagerly.

"Fine by me. Hey, Kaiser!" Andrew called. The Treecko blearily opened one eye, glaring at Andrew. "We're leaving. Wake up, unless you want to try and catch up with us."

Kaiser gave a yawn, and hopped off the rock, giving a questioning glance to Calvin, Camille, and their Pokemon, but shrugged and dismissed it.

"Onward!" Camille said dramatically.

"Save it. Oh, and three, two, one..." Calvin said. On cue, the earth shook violently as oif it was having a seizure. "Dear Mother Nature... Fuck you." He added spitefully.

"Arceus dammit!" Andrew shouted exasperatedly, as he started flailing around, trying to find some sort of support. Kaiser, however, crossed him arms and scoffed. His feet were able to cling to the ground like glue.

Camille held strong, and managed to hold onto Andrew while Calvin held on to her. The earthquake subsided, and they relaxed. "I think we should go." Calvin said.

"Gee. I wonder why," Andrew said bitterly. He then made his way towards Route 101. Something had to be wrong. Having earthquakes twice, if not more a day is sure as hell not normal. Not even possible.

Calvin checked his Pokenav. "They are gtting more and more frequent." He said. Camille looked worried. "This defies logic." She said.

"Obviously. There's gotta be something that's causing this besides nature. 'Cause I'm pretty sure that nature doesn't hate us that much." A wild Poocheyena, hiding in the bushes, had started growling at Andrew when he approached, but one good glare from Kaiser sent the Pokemon running.

"I wonder if something happened to fuck with the balanc ofthe world." Camille said.

OOC: This is the part where Team Legend is introduced.

"Balance of the world? Last time I checked, there wasn't such a thing," Andrew said.

"And that's where you're wrong."

Andrew spun around towards the source of the voice. It was a man, currently leaning against a nearby tree, with such a disheveled appearance, it was almost ridiculous. Dark brown hair that was absolutely crazy and stuck up in a variety of places, an outfit with so many mismatching colors, a mish-mash of purple, red, black, and dark green, it made Andrew's eyes hurt, and bloodshot, dark gray eyes that made the guy look like he hadn't slept in days. He also wore a mask that had the appearance of some sort of demonic monster thing.

"...And you are...?" The twins asked, turning around. Plusle and minun sparked like metal in a microwave at the new arrival.

"Oh, how rude of me!" he said in an almost hysteric voice. "You can call me Wildcard. These earthquakes? Not natural. At all!"

"Yeah. We've kind of picked that up. Mind getting your face out of here? We're busy," Andrew replied. Kaiser gave Wildcard a glare.

It was a little bit before Wildcard responded. "That wasn't very nice," he said, his voice suddenly lower and having a deadly edge to it. He then snapped his fingers, and seemingly out of nowhere, two people appeared out of the trees, in what appeared to be matching outfits of dark green and purple.

"Team Legend. You would do well to remember the name. And, trust me, I never forget an insult." With that, he walked off, and the two grunts sent out a Duskull and a Seviper. A challenge.

"We may have them outnumbered by one, but we should battle like we're the ones outnumbered." Calvin said. Camille nodded, and Plusle and Minun jumped into battle. "Andrew, we'll take the Seviper, so you can battle the Duskull without worrying about Seviper's poison attacks. But remember, Duskull can lean ice-type moves." Camille whispered.

"Gotcha. Kaiser, let's show 'em whose-"

Unfortunately, before Andrew could finish his sentence, the Treecko had already lunged at the Duskull with an Aerial Ace. The ghost Pokemon had taken the attack, but retaliated with an Ice Beam. However, it appeared to be a terrible misfire...

Until Andrew realized that the attack was aimed for him.

Andrew immediately fell flat to the ground, the beam shooting above his head. "'Ey! You're not supposed to attack me!" he shouted angrily, and the trainer simply smirked and shrugged in response.

"We can fight dirty, too! Discharge!" The twins shouted. Plusle and Minun joined hands, and shot electricity everywhere, making sure not to hit the twins, Andrew, or Kaiser.

Seviper was hit by the attack, but Duskull managed to fly out of the way just in time, before sending a Shadow Ball right at Kaiser. The Treecko nimbly dodged the attack, before firing off a flurry of Bullet Seeds at the ghost, who was hit over, and over, and over, before falling to the ground, the single eye dimming out. The grunt returned his Pokemon hastily, before running off without a word, leaving Calvin and Camille to fight the other grunt's Seviper, who had proceeded to lunge right for Plusle with a Poison Fang.
