Man that's a pretty long title for a movie. Anyway, this is the latest installment of the Planet of the Apes franchise, which appears to be either a reboot (from a few sites I heard) or a prequel (the original or the Tim Burton remake, I don't know which). While it'll soon be out tomorrow, I just know fans are going to hate it for its use of CGI on the apes instead of costumes/make up used in all of the previous films and not letting the franchise die (as if they want their beloved series to be frozen in time with no upgrades/tweaks). The plot may seem ridiculous, but if you look at it in a different perpective, you could say this how the Colonists felt during the Revolutionary War when they were slaves to the British. Now let's begin the discussion.

I still have yet to see the originals yet the 2000 remake was decent and I wouldn't mind if this one was a prequel to it or just another reboot. Seems to me like its just going to be a complete reboot to start things off fresh. And considering how much history the series has I think that's a good thing. I'm going to see it with my friends tomorrow. Looks good so I hope we don't waste our money.

^ Well yes, the movie didn't disappoint, along with a message regarding putting too much faith in medical science:

It may lead to our downfall via the ending credits.

I hate monkeys, so I'm not going to see it.

It looks to be a highly interesting movie. Although I've never seen the originals, I'm definitely seeing this one.

I've seen the original with Charlton Heston and it's quite good.
This one does not entice me though, at least from what I've seen in the trailers.

I'm probably not going to see it. The trailers didn't interest me.
