Ok, so I had a pretty good OU team that got me 3 wins in a row, but ever since then I've been on a HUGE losing streak. So, I put together a new OU team. Well, I didn't put it together yet, but after you guys help me out a bit, I'll put it together ^_^ Here we go...

376metagross.png

Metagross @ Lum Berry
Adamant 252 HP/ 236 Atk/ 12 SpDef/ 8 Def
Ability: Clear Body
~ Stealth Rock
~ Bullet Punch
~ Meteor Mash
~ Earthquake

Ok. My lead. Sets up SR, of course. If there's a taunter, like Azelf, or Aero, I make them faint before I set up. If there's an Infernape/ Heatran lead, I switch to either Starmie or Suicune. I didn't put Explosion on this set because I couldn't decide between EQ or Meteor Mash, since EQ has great coverage, and Meteor Mash is just so amazingly tough. If I'm low on HP, I just Bullet Punch. The EVs are pretty straight forward. Max out HP, give a lot to Attack for power, and I gave 12 to SpDef because it needs it more than Defense does. I didn't invest anything in Speed because I don't need it. The main purpose is to set up SR, and that's almost always gonna happen because of Meta's great Defenses. I picked Lum over Occa because I'm going to switch out of any fire leads anyways, so what's the use?

171lanturn.png

Lanturn @ Leftovers
Calm 40 HP/ 216 Def/ 252 SpDef
Ability: Volt Absorb
~ Confuse Ray
~ Thunder Wave
~ Thunderbolt
~ Ice Beam

I'm not very sure if I should go with this set, but Smogon says this is the best set to use in OU, so what the heck! Once Lanturn Paralyzes (Sp?) it's foe, it can confuse them, a combo known as Parafusion. I hate when I'm paralyzed and confused, so I'm sure my opponent would also hate it. Thunderbolt and Ice beam have great coverage, and Thunderbolt is a strong STAB move. The EVs are so Lanturn can survive more easily, and Leftovers gives Lanturn even more surviveability.

212scizor.png

Scizor @ Leftovers
Adamant 252 HP/ 252 Atk/ 6 Speed
Ability: Technician
~ Swords Dance
~ Bullet Punch
~ Bug Bite
~ Brick Break

Scizor is amazing. It's supposed to come in on a pokemon that it can scare into switching out, so it can Swords Dance. After that, it sweeps. I chose Brick Break over SuperPower because of SuperPowers stat lowering aftermath. I just think it's not worth it. I chose leftovers for recovery purposes. That's pretty much all there is to this set.

472gliscor.png

Gliscor @ Life Orb
Jolly 252 HP/ 216 Speed/ 40 Atk
Ability: Hyper Cutter
~ Swords Dance
~ Earthquake
~ Stone Edge
~ Baton Pass/ Roost

Now, I was a bit unsure about using this Gliscor set, because I already have a Swords Dancer. But anyways, this thing is amazing! EdgeQuake provides amazing coverage, and Swords Dance for great power. Baton Pass is to pass on the +2 Atk boost to Scizor, and Roost is for recovery. I can't decide between those two. Simple EV spread, except I put only 40 in Atk because of Swords Dance. Life Orb for power. One more thing to point out - if there's an Ice Beamer or Surfer, I switch to Suicune (Sadly, that takes away the SD boost).

245suicune.png

Suicune @ Leftovers
Bold 252 HP/ 252 Def/ 6 Speed
Ability: Pressure
~ Calm Mind
~ Surf
~ Rest
~ Sleep Talk

What can I say? Calm Minds a few times then sweeps with Surf. When low on HP, Rest and then Sleep Talk, hoping for Surf. Simple Defensive EV spread, Leftovers to regain HP.

468togekiss.png

Togekiss @ Choice Scarf
Modest 252 SpAtk/ 252 Speed/ 6 Def
Ability: Serene Grace
~ Air Slash
~ Aura Sphere
~ Flamethrower
~ Trick

This thing is great. With Serene Grace, Air Slash will be very annoying for an opponent. Great coverage overall, simple EV spread. Flamethrower over Fire Blast for better accuracy, and trick to cripple opponents, such as Blissey.

So, what do you all think? Please comment, and tell me what pokemon you think can easily take out this team. Any advice is welcome and appreciated ^_^

Re: RMOUT ~ (Rate My OU Team)

To get HP electric 70, you pretty much have to RNG. If not, then good luck. You could replace it with rest/sleeptalk/surf/calm mind (Crocune) if you cant RNG.

Starmie is uneeded on this team, giving you a third electric weakness and you dont have anything in dire need of rapid spin anyways. I would replace it a starmie counter, such as lanturn. Something like this: move 1: Substitute
move 2: Charge Beam
move 3: Hydro Pump / Surf
move 4: Ice Beam
item: Leftovers
ability: Volt Absorb
nature: Modest
evs: 52 HP / 252 SpA / 148 SpD / 56 Spe

Most water types can trouble your team, and lanturn is an awesome counter to most of them.

Oh, that's upsetting. But Lanturn sounds like a great idea! And for the Suicune, I'll think about Crocune. Thanks for the great advice ^^

Re: RMOUT ~ (Rate My OU Team)

Go with Crocune. It's better than that other one. On Gliscor, I would get rid of Fire Fang and put on Baton ass, that way the +2 atk is still in effect.

Lanturn could work actually.

Baton Ass? :p (I'm sorry, that was way too good to pass up.)

But yeah, basically what she said. Go with Crocune, get rid of Fire Fang on Gliscor - it's a pathetic non-STAB move with low base power.

Re: RMOUT ~ (Rate My OU Team)

You can replace Gliscor's Fire Fang with Roost. Ground + Rock already provide good coverage anyway and Gliscor may want to last longer. Also, go with this spread: 252 HP/40 Atk/216 Spe (the lack of Attack EVs can be made up for with the Swords Dance boosts).

Edit: What ability does Gliscor have? I'd recommend Hyper Cutter as its ability.

if u have this team already made i would like to battle u to help test.

and if you go with crocune a good dragon would be hard getting rid of because u wouldnt have ice attacks or a dragon of your own

Ok, now I'm positive that I should get rid of Fire Fang and that I'm going with Crocune, but I'm not sure what to replace Fire Fang with... Roost or Baton Pass.

Lol xD

Yep, you're right. Plus, I've got Togekiss's Flamethrower to handle those two pokemon.

Yes, Gliscor has Hyper Cutter. I'll update with abilities right now ^_^

I wish I had this team already made xD But I'll be glad to battle you when I finish fixing the errors :)

That's what I was thinking, but Gliscors Stone Edge takes care of Mence and Dragonite, and Lanturn's Ice Beam takes care of Flygon, and Suicune's Surf also does good damage on Flygon, even though it's neutral.

Thanks for the tips everyone ^_^

I'll update the front post with my changes :)

But I need help deciding. What does my team need more, Baton Pass support, or Gliscor to be alive longer? I'm leaning towards Baton Pass because the free +2 attack raise from Gliscor to Scizor would be superb, but if Gliscor faints then... Idk.

Also, what moveset should I use on Lanturn? I chose the Parafusion set, but I wasn't sure.

Edit: Updated front post with changes.

and i would go with roost for gliscor because the longer it's alive the more chances it might get the swords dance and sweep

and LOL almost all shiny.

Well, what can I say? I love my shiny pokemon xD I was going to use my Shiny Modest Suicune that I got in a trade, but since I'm using Crocune, I have to find another Shiny Suicune, and if I can't I have to... use a regular one D:

And I'm gonna need someone to RNG me a shiny Lanturn, Purple's my favorite color! Which is why I might be using a regular Gliscor xD

Ok, back on topic. You're right, the longer it's alive, the longer it can sweep. But what if there's an Ice or Water type, and they have the chance to KO me? I could Baton Pass to Scizor and Gliscor would still be alive.

thats a good point but i still view roost better because although switching takes away boost but u wont always be switching to scizor

Yeah, but I also have a Metagross on my team. If Metagross is still alive, I can BP to him and that would be a force to be reckoned with because of Meta's outstanding base Atk. But, I see your point. I just think BP would work better, so that's what I'm leaning towards. I'm not sure if that's the right choice, though, so I'm asking everyone.
