Please do note, this is my very first team and I am really eager to get into the competitive scene but reading wall of texts aren't really my thing (sorry to say), I looked up videos online but they seemed to be mostly from Gen 5 (which I skipped) so I'm not sure if they're still relevant. That being said, advice is greatly appreciated.

I tested this on singles. I would prefer a team for doubles because:

1) Doubles look like they're fun and interesting
2) Getting bored of singles :I

My win to lose ratio was 5w and 2L. Been experimenting and this is what I came up with on Showdown. Although I can't really put indepth explanations, there were a few changes here and there, I used to have an Arbok instead of a Gyrados, which was okay at first but became a bit redundant. Picked each poke in 5-10 minutes actually.

Hey there, are you planning to use this in Doubles VGC (pick 4) or the Smogon Doubles format (all 6)?

I'm not too super-experienced in doubles but I'd suggest changing the team to adapt to the doubles metagame. Hazards aren't seen as often because there's less switching involved...with the possibility of taking 2 free attacks a switch-in can be costly. Going along with that, Protect becomes a very important move in doubles. If you sense your opponent focusing their attacks on one of your Pokemon then a timely Protect can help nullify those attacks while your other Pokemon hits them back in return.

Moves that hit multiple opponents are work better in doubles (Rock Slide, Heat Wave, Discharge, etc) as well as abilities that help nullify attacks (Lightning Rod on Marowak will protect Gyarados, Starmie, and Aerodactyl)

I've mostly dabbled in VGC so far, which probably feels like a different game from Smogon doubles. With VGC it's more of you having a solid foundation of 4 Pokemon that you use in most situations, with the other 2 as substitutes to help you against certain matchups.

Sorry that I can't give more specific feedback for now, but try to think on those things and make changes accordingly so we can get a better grasp of how you want to play the team. If you come up with a style that you like for the team, let us know then we can keep working on this. Best of luck!
