You may or may not remember, a long time ago I made my first RPG entitled Rocket Mission. I think it was quite enjoyable while it lasted, but sadly it died. Anyway, I've decided to make 'Rocket Mission II'

You don't have to have played the last one to be in this one, and it is a different story, just the same concept.

ALSO, this time you will have the option of either playing as a police officer or a member of Team Rocket.

I'm unsure atm whether or not I should give everyone two characters, so for now, please just do one.

Additionally, each side has a 'mole'. In other words, there is a member of Team Rocket in disguise as a police officer and there is a police officer under cover as a member of Team Rocket. I'm not gonna play the leaders this time, so it's up to whoever does to decide what to do with anyone they expect to be the mole.

The Mole: If you are interested in being the mole for either side, don't say it on your sign up, but just PM me. Write your sign up assuming you are not the mole. In your PM to me, write another sign up with your original sign up being your cover identity. If you are playing as the mole, you can only relate information that you have recovered yourself. Whatever information you want to give back to your own team, PM to me, and I'll announce it. Also, it is assumed that each Mole repeats the announcements to their own team, so both teams know what information is being leaked, which could help them identify their own mole.

I'm not certain on the plot yet, so any suggestions are welcome, but I do have a rough idea. I think the RPG is probably going to be concerned with the RBYFRLG Rocket takeover of Saffron. Team Rocket are trying to take over Saffron, including Silph Co. and the Gym, and the police are trying to stop them. I would prefer it if brute force is used sparingly, it makes things more interesting that way.

THE RULES - Please actually read, even if you skim
1) No godmodding (obviously)
2) No double posting and please do not post more than 2 or 3 times a day, my last RPG died because three people did about 100 posts each all in one day (I log on every couple of days, so if loads has happened without my input, SLOW DOWN)
3) Stick to your sign up sheet - Don't add random powers for your character
4) If you are the Mole for your Team - don't make it obvious!
5) REMEMBER because this is a text based RPG, you will inevitably read things that your character should not know, please take into consideration the fact that your character doesn't know these things when posting.

I need someone to play the Chief of Police and I need someone to play the Division Head of Team Rocket (We'll pretend that Giovanni is out of town for this mission because that's more fun =P) Other than that, everyone has to be a Grunt/Standard Ranking Field Officer.

I'll do my sign up, I'm having two characters, I know I've said a maximum of one, but I'm the GM and whatever. =P

Appearance: Alias is average height, but very skinny, he usually crouches as he walks. He wears a costume very similar to the Grunt outfit, but with a hood and a mask. He goes to extraordinairy lengths to make sure no one sees his face.
Personality: 'Alias' is, obviously, not Alias' real name, as he wants to remain as anonymous as possible, in fact he uses different aliases within the team, which is why he is known mostly as Alias. He is extremely paranoid and thinks through everything. He is the second in charge for this mission and questions everything those above him have to say. He is actually the same Rank as the Division Head of this mission, but the DH was selected to be Giovanni's stand in, so Alias is expected to answer to him.
History: Not much is known of Alias' past before Team Rocket, by Alias' own design. He has been a member of Team Rocket for a very long time, but how long is unknown as he refuses to let anyone but Giovanni see his records.

Name: Frank "Justice" Jones
Age: 35
Allegiance: Police Force
Rank: Second in Command
Pokemon: Fearow
Appearance: Justice is a tall, attractive man, with broad shoulders. He is fairly muscular. He always wears police uniform to the exact specification given in the guide book.
Personality: "Justice" earned his nickname by being known for his incredible sense of right and wrong. Justice sees things as very black and white and is desperate for criminals to pay for their crimes. He sees the law as perfect and does everything humanly possible to uphold it. Justice has been turned down for promotion several times as he is seen as irresponsible, but at the moment he acts as the Chief of Police's deputy - it is considered a trial period.
History: Justice wanted to join the police for as long as he can remember and was a police cadet from the age of 13, until 18 when he finally joined the force. For someone who has been in the force for so long, he is surprisingly low ranked.

Name: Nekani "Neeka" Carlisle
Age: 19
Allegiance: Team Rocket

Pokemon: Chinchou, Torkoal
Appearance: Her skin is pale with freckles. Nekani's hair is green and wild, spiking out in all directions. She wears a black over-sized zip-up hoodie with a red R on it. Her jeans are a faded black and very tight. On her feet Neeka wears black heels. She is 5'6 and has long eyelashes. Her eyes are a subtle violet. Nekani often wears large red sunglasses.
Personality: She is spunky and energetic. Nekani is very saucy and will talk back to anyone. It's hard to keep her still, she is always moving about. Neeka can come off as sassy but she loves people. Definitely an extrovert, this is one Rocket grunt that is never alone. Nekani has very few morals which makes her a perfect fit for Team Rocket.
History: Nekani had a normal home life growing up. She had a dad, a mum and a little brother. They lived on a ranch but Neeka longed for the big city. So, at the age of 16 she left and ran away to Lilycove There she met some Aqua grunts and joined immediately. She only recently joined Team Rocket after realizing Team Aqua was going down the drain.

Appearance:Pale skin with short flat black hair.He has bright red eyes that are hidden behind sun-glasses most of the time,and he always has a very creepy smile on his face.He wears a rocket uniform of pure white with and ice blue "R" on the front.
Personality:Evil,Creepy,But helps his team to victory.Like to eat apples,and talk to other Grunts.
History:Joined team Rocket at the age of 19 and has been on 1 mission so far.

Name: Leonard "Leo" Arieh

Rank: I'll put in a bid for Police Chief, if no one has any objections

Pokemon: Luxray, Porygon2, Gallade

Appearance: Extremely well-built, with black hair and piercing blue eyes. He is very ruggedly handsome, and stands around 6'4". He mostly dresses in grey, black, and blue, and prefers clothing that allows him maximum maneuverability. Since his recent promotion to Chief, he mostly wears suits, though he's obviously uncomfortable in them.

Personality: Always friendly and affable, Leo is rarely seen without a good-natured smile. He is completely devoted to his work, and his calculating mind means he's pretty good at it, too.

History: Leo was born in Snowpoint City, and stowed away on a boat at age 16 with his pet Shinx, looking for adventure. The boat was bound for Kanto, and after a few years, Leo joined the police academy. He quickly rose through the ranks, thanks to his athletic training and keen intellect, and somehow wound up as Chief.

Appearance: He likes to wear his simple Grunt uniform, as he likes the thought of belonging to one of the most powerful orginizations in the world. He's got pitch black hair and is thin and tall with slightly tan skin. He stands fairly tall, and his long limbs fall loosely and akwardly from his body.
Personality: Root always has to have a say in things, even though it's usually far from serious. He enjoys making jokes, and laughing even when no one else is. He's quite selfless, but his ego often takes presidence over anything.
History: Root had always set his sights on the top, not caring whether he'd make it or not. All throughout his childhood he was told he wouldn't amount to anything, and he sought to prove them wrong. He joined Team Rocket in hopes for achieving recognition and status, though he is still a lowly Grunt.

Appearance:Tyler is 6'0 ft tall and 220 pounds.He is of Mexican orientation and often curses in Spanish under his breath when things go wrong. He is slightly chubby but he is still able to pass the fitness tests and was able to pass the police academy. While in the field he wears a Black hoodie and jeans with old sneakers.
Personality:Tyler is notorious for his laid back personality. He is generally well liked and is a good natured guy. While often scolded by the police chief his keen eye has helped solve many crimes. Tyler often spends his off days sleeping or staying home and watching TV.
History:Tyler spent his entire school life just passing and never really trying. After high school he decided to join the police academy and with his First pokemon a Munchlax he scraped through.After graduating from the police academy he was able to solve a case in a little over ten minutes when he detected Finger prints no one else had seen. This ultimily proved his worth to he police chief and he is often called in to look at crime scenes. On a case in pallet town he captured a squrtile. During the Radio tower takeover in johto he was sent to relieve the other officers in the region while there he caught a houndoor.In all he is well liked by his colleagues and grudgingly respected by the higher ups.

Alright, Bones and Blastoise, consider yourself accepted. Is this the same Root that was on Rocket Mission? If so, that's cool because this is set after Rocket Mission I.

Edo Kun, your sign up is fine, and you can consider yourself in the RPG, but I just want the position of Chief of Police to be on that people can still apply for. I definitely want the Rocket Division Head and the Police Chief to be the best for the job, so don't consider those positions closed until the RPGs started XD

Also, I still need moles. Remember, if you want to be the mole, for either team, PM me, your public sign up should be for the team you're spying on.
 
When is this going to start?Because I am going on holiday on Monday and wont be back till Friday,and I don't think I can get online.But if it fills up fast start without me,I don't mind.
BTW I was considering bringing back my old Rocket Grunt like bones,But I like my new Grunt better LOL

Appearance: NEVER WEARS POLICE UNIFORM.rather short, high school girl with knee length light purple hair with an oversized black bow at the top. almost pale skin with long nails ALWAYS painted pink. she wears her high school uniform most of the time which is basicly a cute Japanese sailor uniform with pink stilletto boots and matching elbow length gloves
Personality: cheerfull and funny outside, but dark and sinister on the inside. sometimes this side shows through
History: loves to battle and take care of her pokemon. cares more for how their health is than beating the opponant. known to dive in frount of a charging Donphan to save her wounded espeon. only owns three pokemon

@ Rainbow: Given that it is now Monday, this might be a little late, but if we do start without you, I'll save you a place and if you talk to me when you get back, I'll bring you up to speed so you don't have to trawl through all the posts.

In fact, that goes for anyone, if you're gonna be offline for a week or something, just let me know and I'll be sure to save your place.

Of course, as I said before, I'm still trying to find some positions, mainly the division head of Team Rocket. I'll play it if no one wants to, but I really don't want to - I want this to be a more easy going RPG on my part. (I'll be more of an overseer than a director) Anyway, the point is, we stand a good chance of not starting by Friday >.>

@ blossem466: Yes, you've done that absolutely fine, and I'm honoured that you chose this to be your first RPG. You're accepted. I would advise having a quick look at an RPG that is in progress, when I first started I didn't really understand the way it works. That said, you might be one of those people who picks it up quickly, so it's your call.

@ Edo Kun: Thank you, I will take into consideration the fact that you applied for it first, but I will think about other things too.
 
Name: Mike "Ace" Porter

Appearance: Mike tends to bend the rules in terms of uniform regulations, even when he is on duty. He will come into work unshaven and he sometimes wears a baseball hat instead of his regulation cap.

He is six feet tall and weighs about 190 pounds. He has an athletic build from his work. He has messy light brown hair and blue eyes.

Personality: Mike gets his nickname from his tendency to get out of trouble based on a gamble that pays off. He is an avid card player, which further fits into his character as a gambler. Although Mike has a strong sense of justice and wants to do the right thing, he doesn't care at all for rules and regulations.

History: Mike never wanted to be a police officer until the age of 18, when he got arrested for getting into a fight in a bar. When the officer who took him in became a mentor of sorts to Mike, he joined the force a year later, and has been there ever since.

Appearance: A tall man with medium length brown hair. He sports a think beard and mustache and generally wears a black trench coat with gold lining. He wears an eyepatch over his left eye, which has a scar running through it, as well as a thick scar beneath his right eye. He wears a large, computerized gauntlet on each arm.
Personality: Falconwing is a rather ambitious, but fair, opponent. He will accept any challenge and will accept defeat should he receive it. Fortunatley defeat isn't something he is used to. He despises most normal grunts, but acknowledges the usefulness of henchmen and thus doesn't complain too much. Also, Falconwing is known to have a bit of a temper. He has absolutely no problem with committing crimes, since he knows no one he steals from.
History: Jonathan Faulkner was a normal trainer once. But life was cruel to him in the short amount of time he was on the road. Broke, sick, and tired, he still managed to pull through. In Cerulean City he got into a fight with a Rocket Recruiter and won. Impressed, the Recruiter asked Jonathan to join the team. With no other available path, Faulkner accepted. In a short period of time, Jonathan proved his prowess as a member of Team Rocket and many were surprised by his calmness when it came to crime. Giovanni, pleased with Jonathan's track record, granted him more and more privileges, even allowing the Falconwing to run an operation at Mt. Moon involving fossils. Jonathan holds a very high rank in Team Rocket at the moment and all but Giovanni follow his orders.

I'll do the Rocket Division Head. Since no one else has.

Appearance: He is fairly tall and a very good looking guy. He has blonde short hair. Also he works out a lot so he has rock hard abs.
Personality: He is a very trustworthy person. He is kind and hard to anger. However if you say something off color in front of him you better be ready to have him give you a piece of his mind. He may not be talkative at first but after you get to know him he will love to talk to you. he is very fun to be around and very fun to have around.
History: Kevin doesn't have much of a history. He has never talked to his dad. He lived a very boring life. However one day Team Galactic attacked his town and left a huge scar on his side. Ever since then he has made a pact to join the police force to make sure that the world can be a better and safer place.
