The Rocket sub approaches the island, destination for their mission. Tyrant and the Grunts await their arrival with eager anticipation. The Rockets presents are Tyrant, the head of the operation, Alex, the most obedient Grunt on the team, Root, the clown of the team, Ryan, the youngest Grunt on the operation by a full five years, Royd, the most ruthless Grunt on the team, Ben, the nice guy, Ricki-Mae, the least decisive Grunt on the team and Black, the most mysterious Grunt on the team. There was also a couple of other Grunts who were going to stay on the submarine in order to guard it.

Each of the Grunts have two or three Pokemon with them and have been issued ten Poke Balls, just in case they need to capture anything on the island.

"Alright, Grunts, listen up," shouts Tyrant, "When we get to this island, I want it to be a fast operation. But there's something you should know about this island, it is somewhat... volatile. This effects the wild Pokemon found here. They are often ferocious and can spontaneously evolve when it may not be usually expected. Any Pokemon that you manage to capture here will be no different. As you know, everyone who is successful on this mission will be promoted to Executive, but don't for a second think it will be all of you. When we arrive we are going to have to travel through the desert for the first part of our mission, be very careful... There are lots of wild Pokemon there and we will need to be ever vigilant!"

The submarine arrives on the island, Tyrant and the Grunts pour out. Following Tyrant, the Grunts head into the nearby desert. Before long, they are attacked without warning by a group of Aron, they seem harmless at first, but a few of them spontaneously evolve into Lairon. One even becomes an Aggron. Tyrant sends out Tyranitar, which considerably worsens the Sandstorm, but is able to rival Aggron. Aggron and Tyranitar are grappling - they seem to be perfectly evenly matched.

"Alright, guys and girls," shouts Tyrant, "Let's show them some Rocket power!"

OOC: Please only use one Pokemon at a time, it'll get far too complicated if everyone uses all of theirs, especially if you manage to capture a couple more. If you're going to try and capture Pokemon, please be realistic with how easy it is. Remember, help your team mates - but try to outshine them! Also, what I've said about your characters is based on the bios you gave me, if you disagree with them just say!

"Oh, me? Uh...go, Riolu!" I knew that our opponents were Rock and Steel types, so I picked my Fighting type for good coverage. "Now..." I hesitated. I really wasn't very good at this. "I know! Riolu, use Force Palm!" Riolu rolled its eyes and began slamming its palms into some nearby Aron. I was rather pleased with myself, actually. I never usually got anything done.

"Go, Houndour! Use Flamethrower on the Aggron!" My Houndour attacked the Aggron. When Aggron turned to look at Houndour, Tyranitar defeated it.
"Return, Houndour. Togepi, use Yawn, then Safeguard!" Togepi used Yawn, which made some of the Aron and Lairon drowzy. It then used Safeguard, which protected us from their powerful Take Down attacks until they went to sleep. Ha! I thought. That's one they owe me!
"PokeBall, Go!" I threw a Pokeball at one of the Lairon, the only sleeping one. It wobbled once, twice, three times, and... stopped. "Yes! I Caught a Lairon!"

I was sitting in the water on my Lapras. I decided to go for one of the Arons that way I wouldn't look stupid failing to catch a Lairon
The most impressive looking attack it had was Rain Dance.
I then proceeded to defeat it quickly with Brine.
"Maybe I should have tried for a Lairon..." I thought.
I turned to face my team mates who were all wet and had annoyed looks on their faces."
"Sorry y'all!" I yelled in my most cutesy farm girl type of voice.

"Thanks for the help!" shouts Tyrant back to Ben and his Pokemon.
"Alright, guys, good work! There's no need to take all of them out, let's try and move through - we have places to be!"

Tyrant orders his Tyranitar to use Earthquake, which hurts a few Rocket Pokemon, but manages to take out quite a few Aron. Most of the remaining Lairon survive, although they're beginning to fall asleep.

"Oh, Riolu!" I cried, seeing him get hit by the Earthquake. "Come back, quick!" I scurried after Tyrant cautiously, nervously eyeing the snoring Lairon and Aron.

"Return, Togepi. What're you all waiting for? c'mon!" I smiled at the others and followed Tyrant.

"Come on back Lapras!" I called.
Lapras obediently returned to it's Pokéball.

Tyrant and the Grunts run on through the desert. There is a hatch door in the ground.

"We've got to get this open!" shouts Tyrant.

Tyrant sends out his Weavile to try and slash it open, but to no avail. Weavile's attention is soon diverted by a band of desert Pokemon who unexpectedly attack. Weavile uses Ice Shard to fight back against the various Sandshrew, Cacnea and suchlike, all of whom sometimes spontaneously evolve.

"Someone try to open up the hatch! Everyone else - fight back against the Pokemon, I can't do it alone!"

Bagon! Headbutt it! Try to force the hatch open!" Bagon's hard head eventually breaks through. "We're through sir."

"Um," I flustered, panicking. "Uh, Ralts, go and use, um, Confusion!" Ralts sent a few opponents flying; my Pokemon were way more capable than I was.

I noticed that the hatch was open, and quickly dashed into it, recalling Ralts. I was creeped out, big-time!

It was awfully dark beneath the trapdoor. I have to admit, I was a little scared. "Where's the boss?" I asked, shivering.
