OP's last fight was a tad close for comfort, so he seeks to boost his power. He has recently learned about a tree, that grows at the grave of the creator of the first steel sword. It is said that he who eats the last pomegranate from that tree will be blessed with swords, able to cut through steel as if it were paper, with each of their blows hitting true enough to slice flies in half. It is OP's plan to travel to Damascus, in Syria, and find this tree. His ally will be Time Breaker. And it's Hour Glass' job to stop him.

OOC: Yes, but apparently you weren't PMed. Feel free to invite as many allies as you want.

OP looked up. He had been cutting his left bicep. It already had two inch-long scars on it, and he was using a pen to make a third.
"Get down from there." OP said.

OOC- No problem. @Duke Devlin with Animalia and @Jester with Steampunk. Are you two up for being Hourglass' allies?

In a quiet street, there was the sound of a clock ticking, and a blue gap apeared in the air. A man dressed in blue and red, a top hat, and strange goggles stepped out. "Good old Charles- his books will make wonders, and he didn't even know it yet." He said, holding a book by Charles Dickens in his hand. He swapped this for a blue book, with long paper lists streaming from it as it was opened. "This brick work... smell... poster tells me they speak English... so it's either America or England, from 2007 to 2014. I was told to be in 2012 in some place or another... Syria, I think...Pretty sure this is the Old United States, I smell grease... Grease was banned in 2100 I'm a tad off the mark.. still, I'm a time traveller. My future self is probably in Syria already, at this very moment.... ah... This is 2012. Good watch." He patted his fogwatch, and walked out of the alley. "I sent a letter ti two of this era's heroes... telling them to be at the Empire State Building at 3.00 March the Nineteenth 2012. Assuming that is today, I better run."

OOC: Sure. I'm up for this ^^
Shaena Wild stared at the letter, frowning at it. Again, she turned it over in her mind-- how could this person, "Hour Glass" or whatever, know about her powers?
Well, in any case, she shouldn't come in her human form. It would only complicate things.
Sighing, she walked into a nearby bathroom and took her clothes off, then concentrated. She could feel herself shrinking, feel the feathers poking out. In her mind, she chanted I am a bird, I am a bird....
About a minute and a half later, she had transformed into a magnificent red-tailed hawk. She used her talon to tighten the string that held her glass bottle around her neck so that it wouldn't fall off, then took off out of the stall and into the streets of New York City.
This is so much faster, she thought, grinning, as she flew towards the Empire State Building.

At the exact moment Hourglass had arrived in 2012, his future self had been standing at the building for 20 minutes. He was continually turning his hourglass over, and suddenly moving very slowly till the sands ran out, where he then resumed moving normally, turning ut over, and once more moving in slo mo.

A man in blue and red holding an hourglass caught Shaena's eye.
Hourglass....the guy was called Hourglass. But how do I know if it's really him? What if I start talking to him and he flips out because a hawk is talking to him?
She'd never run across this situation before, so she wasn't quite sure what to do.
She advanced a little closer to the man, and cleared her throat.

The man did not catch her at first, but slowly turned around before snapping back into normal speed. He looked at his book, back at Animalia, and again at his book, before standing up to greet her. "Animalia, I presume? If not, ah, pretend I didn't say anything."

She breathed a sigh of relief. Thank goodness she wasn't wrong.
"Um, yeah, that's me," she said shyly. "So...you're Hourglass, then? Why exactly did you call me here for? How did you even know where to find me?"

"Well, I know where to find you, because in 2017- wait, this is 2012... ah... never mind that, shall we? The reason why I invited you? Well, I was told that today some villains were up to something in Syria. Or rather, from this perspective, will be. It involved- will involve- A Sword. It's only a small branch, so whether we fail or not won't end with chaos."

Animalia frowned -or did the best impression an hawk could do of a frown. The way this guy talked was weird.
"Are you from the future?" she asked curiously. "And how are we going to get to Syria?"

"Technically, I'm from the year 1507 in Italy, but yes, I spent most of my life in the twenty second century. Anyway, my transport will be able to bring us there yesterday." Hourglass held out his Fogwatch. "We just need to wait for Steampunk."

OOC: Yeah, I'm up for this. Sorry for just now posting, I was gone most of this weekend.

Will walked through the streets of New York, a city he had never explored before, looking for an apparently important building called the Empire State, which he had never heard of before, to find a superhero by the name of Hourglass, whom Will had never seen before. To say that he was lost would be a huge understatement.

"Where do I go now?" Will asked himself. Looking up for a moment, Will saw a rather tall building, which looked extremely similar to the one that Will had seen on a post card. He pulled his goggles onto his head, and, using the binocular features, Will spotted a man dressed in apparel that he would normally see on a superhero. Next to him was a bird, which Will found rather strange. He simply shook his head, assuming that it wasn't a thing that he would be able to comprehend.

Seeing a door at the base of the building, Will entered in through it. He easily could have flown up to the top, but, in case he was wrong, Will would be in big trouble if he gave away his powers. He then entered the elevators and was on his way up to the meeting point.

Hourglass started turning the hourglass in his hand again, once more moving incredibly slowly.

The plane arrived in Syria, and Clyde went through security without a hitch. He had mailed his sword to a post office box in Syria.
"Time Breaker, come. I need to get my sword." He said, heading for the post office.

Animalia frowned. Was this guy legit? And it was a little creepy how he seemed to move slower whenever he moved that hourglass.
And he knew where to find her. She'd taken extra-special precautions so that nobody would know her human identity.
But if he lived in the future, did that mean that she would be exposed?
The hawk shuddered, waiting for whoever this Steampunk guy was.
