The Evidence: Rogues Gallery Issue #3

All rise! The high court of the honorable Judge M.M. is now in session!

The Defendant Disarray is accused of assaulting Military Personnel, resisting arrest, and aiding an attempt to greatly imperil the Nation's Capitol, as well as endangering the lives of countless innocents.

The Prosecuting Attorney will now present their case, followed by the Defense.

(Voting note: Whichever verdict receives five votes first will be declared the final-verdict - unless the difference in votes is less than three, in which case voting will continue until a verdict reaches ten votes, or the Judge issues a ruling in the jury's stead)

The prosecution stands. She reminds the court that Dissaray is not only a supervillain thief, but has done much more to harm the innocent, including working with Icira and Carlos Witherflame in an attempt to destroy D.C.

The first witness, a former member of the army, is called. He was discharged as he suffered from great injury from being thrown by Dissaray as an attack method. The prosecution states that that was an assault by itself.

A woman dressed in black enters the courtroom. After rushing at Dissaray in tears as an attempt to hurt him and having the guards have to hold her back, she cries that Dissaray killed her husband, as well as half the police squad, on purpose. She cries that he needs to be in a maximum security prison for life before running off in tears.

The prosecution states that when combined with the evidence in the first case stating that the person that assaulted and killed many of the heroes of America was Dissaray, not just a random guy. She concludes that he deserves to stay in a 2nd or 3rd rank security cell for life in New Alkatraz.

Disarray, in a full body cast, struts in. He looked confident, despite the fact that he knew there was no way he would be found innocent. All he needed to do was put on a good show, then play his trump card.
"I plead not guilty." Disarray says, slamming his fist on the table for emphasis. "Also, I will be defending myself, as I am the only one competent enough to do so." In actuality, no lawyer was willing to represent him, though he believed it prudent not to mention it. "First off, do I look anything like him?" Sol asks, taking out a picture of himself before he had his facial reconstruction. "Nope. See, he has blue eyes and blonde hair. My eyes are red and I have black hair. Also, I would like to point out that Jeremy attacked me first. And I was afraid Icira was killed me. I was forced, see! And it wasn't even me. It was my evil twin. In a Chewbacca suit. It didn't even fit him." He said, looking a tad nervous. "May I use the restroom?"

The prosecution facepalms. "May I ask why you're in a full body cast?" she asks. "Oh, and remember that you are under oath."

"Jeremiah shot me with a laser." Disarray says, totally serious. "He thought I was my evil twin when Icira kidnapped me. Did I mention Icira forced me to do all that stuff? 'Cause she did. Also, I would like to state that that one kid with the water powers is stupid and ugly."

"Did you say Icira?" she asked. How is that even possible? Didn't she die or something? Oh, and where is this Dissaray person now?"

"Before she died, she forced me to work for her. Then her cousin or uncle or whoever continued to do so." Disarray says. "And I am Disarray. The real one, though, who solves crimes. My evil twin brother...Um...Wario...Pretended to be me so he could sully my good name."

OOC: Remember, before the mission started, while he did steal stuff, he was never caught, and pretended to be a hero.

Disregard my vote for Guilty I had some lag and didn't mean to vote.

*facepalms*

I'm so stupid....

The defense smirked. She knew she was onto something.

"Well then, where is this "Wario" person?" she asked.

"Obviously I don't know. Otherwise I'd have captured him by now, as I am a superhero and he is a villain. And superheroes capture villains." Sol says. "If I had to guess, I would say it is in Soviet Russia. He's a communist, you see. He's my opposite in every way, you see. Since I love America and would never hurt it, he is a communist and hates America."

"YOU'RE a Superhero?" she asked, taking out her phone. "Then how come you quit?" She then showed the YouTube video of Dissaray, in his original, non face-melted form that was earlier described as Wario at the beginning of court stating that he quit heroics.

"Then why is "Wario" claiming to be Dissaray in this video when he should be with the Soviets?" she asked. "Rather, why are you even claiming to have an evil twin in the first place? You know that you did it!"

I'm putting an end to this mockery of the Justice System, let the Jury commence deliberations!

Miko entered the jury stand in handcuffs.
"Listen, I'm telling you, hand me my gun and I can explain all of this..."

Lars entered the jury stands with messy hair and a red T shirt saying "I'm not fred flintstone, but I can make your bed rocks." Written in white.
"Err, bro." He said to Disarray, even though Lars doesn't know him. "You're stating that he is your evil twin, correct? But do you really got any proofs that he is really your twin?"

Lars paused. He looked at his old 'friend' Miko and winked.

Miko blew a kiss, now completely unbound in handcuffs.
The guard escorting her blinked, then rolled his eyes.
"Yeah, proof's a good thing I guess. Although, if you are evil, I need a roommate?"

"Divine intervention! Icira has risen from the dead. And who are we to go against the will of god himself?" Disarray asks. "And I am sorry, young lady, but I have a very nice place already. Maybe Ms. Witherflame would be willing to take on an assistant, however?"

OOC: Note that this break in the plot was specifically approved by myself, it is in no way meant to be a standard occurence.
