The hero Disarray ( @Mouthful of Pi ) has amassed his power, ready to attack!
It's up to Splice ( @Majin Mew ) and Leo Cantus ( @Yusei Fudo ) to keep him back from Splice's base!

Disarray has utilized his Direct Assault power, hence the hero readying the plot.
Good luck, everyone involved!

Disarray was waiting around the zoo. He had decided to stop Splice completely alone. For that, he needed a catapult. A catapult which he was hauling crates made of cheap wood onto.
"Sure you don't want some help with that?" A soldier said.
"No...No, it's quite alright, everything's under contro-Aughhh!" Disarray said, as he dropped it. The crate exploded, covering him in pink, sweet smelling liquid.

"Yes. It doesn't count if you help me with this, since the battle hasn't started. And get someone to drive the truck as well."

Two large metal doors slid began to slide open and Splice walked out. He squinted his eyes at the sunlight. He'd spent the last few days inside his underground lab. Out of his three bases, his New York one was the one he was the most protective of. With Disarray's recent rise to power he worried about the future of his first base. The other villain more or less controlled New York, except for Splice's Zoo. The place was under constant patrol by his minions, but he still tried to be there to guard it whenever he could.

Across his chest he now wore a bandolier that carried several phials of DNA. He pulled one out and poured the contents into his hand. His gene splicer activated and mutated him into a human/falcon hybrid. He rose into the air and began to fly about the city. He often patrolled the surrounding area, checking for any possible threats. If he found any he eliminated them as soon as he could.

"Splice? Is that you?" Disarray yelled up at Splice. He was sitting in a lawn chair now, as a truck full of what looked like green dirt rode up. A pony passed by, and he scratched it's head, then fired at Splice with his laser rifle.

Splice looked down at the shout, and glared. 'How didn't I notice that?' he thought scratching his head. During his moment of confusion a laser scorched a his wing and he snaped back into reality. "Is that a challenge you insufferable twit?!" he shouted, having a British accent for some strange reason.

Splice pulled a device off of his belt and spoke into it. Back at the zoo a message sounded out of the PA system. "Disarray's offered a challenge. Everybody at your ready!" said the electronic voice. Splice smirked, which is kind of hard to do with a beak, he blasted towards the zoo, ready to block any attack that came his way.

Disarray spoke a single command, and the catapult flung all of the crates. Over a thousand perfume bottles broke, bathing the entire zoo in a sickeningly sweet smell. For humans, it could cause dizziness. For animals with greater sense of smell, it was pure torture. Disarray, meanwhile, crawled down a manhole.

Leo Cantus.
He was caught in a hovering, jagged chunk of ice. The ice seemed to made out of a chemical substance, not water, because the ice glowing a cool green. Below it was a dais of some sort, standing on a gently raised mount that was covered in a dusting of snow. A soft light, coming from somewhere high above the lab was open to daylight, shone down on the mutant. The icy prison hid some details of his shape and form, exaggerated others. It was revealed and concealed at the same time, like a new lover imperfectly glimpsed through a gauzy curtain.

Splice had froze him here for two days, because it is important for his new body to fully work, and to make sure it all could function well.
Well, it has been two days.

Slowly, Lars opened his eyes. Ice cracked from them at the gesture and fell in small shards, like a frozen tears.
The mutant fell to his knees, and observed around. he appears as a humanoid lion, and his body is now encased in black armors.

For Splice's glory I shall serve, and I shall find it joyous.

The mutant let out a frightening, prideful roar that echoed through the underground lab, and he jumped through the window above the lab, thanks to his enchanced speed, power, and claws that allowed him to climb.

As Splice touched down he noticed many of minions, growling and covering their noses. Some had even fainted. Those were mostly his canine and feline minions. He could barely smell a thing, though falcon's, like most birds, have quite a bad sense of smell. He noticed the pink liquid now covering the zoo and glared towards the entrance. Now, for the most part any mammalian minions would be useless in this fight. He let out a loud screech and a line of bird mutants landed in front of him. "THIS IS WAR!" he shouted at the top of his lungs. "Avian attack!" The beastmen all armed to the teeth rose into the air and released fire around the perimeter of the zoo.

Disarray, meanwhile, rose from the sewers. Still invisible, he was virtually undetectable. Normally, he would have been worried about the mutants smelling him. Of course, the perfume took care of that, and the sound of gunfire would drown out any noise he made, even though he was already very quiet. He picked the lock to the security room.

Dizzied by the strong, sickening smell of the perfume, Leo Cantus let out a roar, covered his nose, and jumped back to the underground lab. At least, the smell was less crazy here than up there.
He ran through the dark corridor on all four, just like a lion, trying to find another way out. He had tried to pinpoint Splice's location, but the smell of the perfumes confuses him.

Splice rose up to see the aftermath of his minion's assault, but Disarray was nowhere to be seen. "Dammit," he growled. He flew inside the elevator quickly activated it. It opened up back inside his lab and he turned to the large chunk of "ice". It was broken, Leo had already gotten out. Looking up he noticed the window broken; his wings instantly spread out and he flew through the hole. "CANTUS!" he shouted in a very high pitched bird like voice.

The moment he heard Splice's voice from the surface, Leo Cantus jumped, breaking through the ceiling of the underground lab, and roared, looking at the man who had created him right in the eyes. The lionj mutant smirked a savage smirk. Ready to right, happy to serve his master.

OP, meanwhile, kicked open the door to the security room, and started rapidly typing on the computer, hacking into it.

An alarm suddenly went off; red lights flashed throughout the lab. Splice ran to a large set of computer monitors. One of them had flashed on and it displayed an image of Disarray within the security room. "How did he get in..." he growled, punching through one of the deactivated screens. "GET HIM!" barked the villain beginning to type what appeared to be random nonsense into the oversized keyboard. The computers instantly deactivated in front of his foe. It wouldn't be enough to stop him as he'd learned from OP, but it would slow him down.

"Hmph." Disarray grunted. He turned the computer back on and began typing with one hand, while pouring a glass of wine with the other. It was something of a challenge, but Disarray considered himself - And probably was - a genius, especially with technology. He overrid Splice's control, and went back to overriding the lockdown. He reached into his pockets, and just to be safe, scattered what looked like a few marbles on the floor.

Splice burst out of the lab, he'd attacked others, but this was the first time someone else was attacking a place of his own. "Execute Plan #74659Q!" he shouted, loud enough for all of his conscious minions to hear. With all the free time on his hands he had managed to design plans for any possible problem he could think of. Teaching them all to his minions was the hard part.

The minions just stood there for a little bit trying to remember exactly what that plan implied, but soon enough they figured it out. Mostly from following the smarter ones. Several armories had been set up throughout the zoo, providing his minions with everything they needed. Robbing an army base and owning an Archipelago did make resources much easier to come by. Beastmen ran throughout the fortress wearing and carrying gas masks and oxygen tanks. They brought them to their unconscious comrades and those revived had begun to do the same.

The army, now fully back on its feet gathered around their leader. Splice pointed to his more intelligent minions. "Disable everything! Disconnect it all from the generator. Leave no way to access the gates. It's more of a drawback than assistance in this battle!" he ordered.

OOC: Oh, right, this is still something I have to do, huh?

"Where did they get the masks?" Disarray wondered aloud as he watched. He had already opened the gates. unfortunately for them, and he pressed a button, causing the truck to enter the facility. It had a picture of his own face on it. Still invisible, he crept up behind the hopefully distracted Splice and rolled a plasma grenade over to him, detonating it with a wink, simultaneously firing on him with his laser rifle.

OOC:*Suddenly wakes from coma* I'M AWAKE! *looks around* Ugh I still have responsibilities here...

Still in the middle of directing his minions, Splice had no way of noticing the incoming explosive. It blasted him into the air, in an especially cartoony style. His minion looked upon in confusion before realizing they better start attacking the incoming enemies.

Quickly reacting Splice caught himself in the air. His wings spread out and he chnaged direction, gliding straight towards the now noticed Disarray. Dual weilding two G36 assault rifles he began to fire. As they ran out of ammo he just threw one at his target and reloaded the remaining gun.
