The Supervillain Disarray has hired the Mercenary Shift to aid him in escaping his own Trial!

The state has responded by hiring the Mercenary Haze to stop the dangerous duo!

"Oh, right, yeah, I'm escaping." Disarray says, breaking out of the full body cast, revealing his reddish-violet suit, with a peacock feather boa and ruffled shirt beneath. "My only crime, after all, is ambition. That, and being a sexy, sexy beast. I doubt that justifies a prison sentence." He says, combing his hair. He had been quite enjoying all the courtroom antics. "So bye! Shift, my equipment." Disarray says.

Tye pulled his hood down revealing that he had been invisible in the court room only a few feet from Disarray. He put up his arm laser pointed at the villain, "I hereby order you to stand down" Tye's laser was armed, his eyepiece locked-on to Dissarray. "I have statistically analyzed every aspect of what you could do right now...and none come out good for you" He smirked. "I have heard you are smart...but are you super smart?"

"Oh really. If you have analyzed everything I can possibly do, then what number am I thinking of?" Disarray asks, hands on his hips.

At that point in time Shift took it upon himself to actually appear, dropping through a portal to stand awkwardly next to Disarray, frowning and muttering something about how he wasn't a lackey for the supervillain to boss around as he did, when he heard what had been asked of him. Nonetheless he complied, glaring at the man all the while. Oh well. So long as he was getting something out of the situation he was okay with doing just about anything.

"The number is irrelevant" Tye chuckled a little though. "Shift? I have read about your work...I didn't expect you to be here" He gave him a look of being slightly impressed. "Now Shift, step away from Disarray and get down on your knees. Disarray, do the latter" Tye toted his laser, having still pointed at Disarray.

"It actually is. How else can you prove you calculated everything? It's obvious you didn't. You just admitted you didn't expect my new friend." Disarray says, putting his suit on over his clothes. "Shift, can you make me a portal to get out of here?" He asks, turning invisible.

"If I have to," came the murmured response, as Shift himself slipped into a portal, immediately sealing it.

Appearing instantly in his pocket dimension Shift then opened a portal as near to Disarray as possible, without causing the supervillain to fall through it.

Tye open fired his laser at the villian, the powerful beam was ready to slice him in half. "You are a menace to society, I cannot let you escape"

"PPbbbfft!" Disarray says, blowing a raspberry at Tye as he detonates a handful of stun grenades, falling back through the portal, as his suit deflects the laser beam.
"So now what?" Disarray asks Shift. "Can we just go outside now?"

Shift watched the action through a portal at head-height, his face the picture of sheer apathy.
The second Disarray fell through the portal he sealed it, a swift flick of his hand.
He turned to face the other man, only half listening to what he was saying.
Shift shrugged in reply, a slight lift of his shoulders.
"I guess."

Tye had a lock on Disarray due to his eyepiece. Just as I thought....only a matter of time until I am able to track him back in our world...

"To Mexico it is, then," Shift responded, flicking his wrist and opening a portal to Mexico City, Mexico.
Yawning and muttering something under his breath Shift exited his pocket dimension, frowning at the buildings around him.
"Well off you go then," Shift told Disarray through the still open portal, "I'm sure you can find some tequila around here. Probably. Eventually."

OOC: So...Is that it? Did I just win? Like that? He did escape, and that was the goal.

OOC: Well, I was planning on getting a hit on my eyepeice that was just a general area of Mexico, then lose the signal due to the range...so I could show up in Mexico and track Disarray...

OOC: Except his goal was to escape from the courthouse, not necessarily disable the people tracking him. After all, even if he killed Tye, which would probably be a win, the police would still probably be after him. But if MM thinks that this was too short, I'd be down with giving him a new goal of having to get Tye off his back.

OOC: This was rather short, and, in my opinion, didn't really give GoJ much chance at all of winning. I mean, you basically laughed maniacally and then teleported out of the courtroom. :-/

I would suggest one more scene, with Disarray being tracked to his current location, and a final "showdown" - this time, however, if Disarray escapes I would prefer it be by less... supernatural means. ;-)

Well-played, though, Villains... well played...

Tye got a breif hit in an area of Mexico with his "scouter" and then it faded. "Well, looks like I am headed to Mexico"

After some struggling to get the clearance he was on a plane, destined for Mexico City Airport. Great, hours on an airplane to apprehend one man...
