Roleplaying... With Pokémon!?

Have you tried roleplaying in the Pokémon world? If so, how did you do it?

I personally use Pokémon Tabletop Adventures, because it's a really great system. Anyone that's both into Pokémon and roleplaying should definently check it out; it won't disappoint you!

This thread is for discussion of all sorts of roleplaying in Pokémon, be it pen and paper, online or even live-action roleplaying (if you somehow manage to do so, I'm impressed.)

I used to be a member of many Pokemon forum with roleplaying. I also have my own site, but there's no activity. I love to roleplay, but usually the RPs die because of inactivity.

I do like to RP here on Bulbagarden, but like Te-em said, they usually turn inactive. I didn't know there was a Pokemon tabletop game.

At the time of my writing this, I am head GM of the Knight Pokémon University roleplay. From the looks of things, that truth will cease to be before the day is out.

Other than that, I've also participated in IRC-based roleplays ostensibly set in the Pokémon world, though in that case, Pokémon themselves were rather sparse and unimportant to the plot.

I've never actually roleplayed as a Pokémon character, but I've RP'ed with a couple of people from a PokéSpe group on Tumblr in the past.

That counts, right?

I did random role plays about Cynthia (suprized?), Gold, Krys, and, Red, with Shadow the Umbreon in the tagboard on Rainbow Starworld forum (which I used to have in my signature. might add back someday I dunno *shrug*).

I remember making Gold's character kind of goofy and he had a huuuge crush on Cynthia...and they went out on a date once.:sweat::lol:

Also, Gold and Red's battle at mount silver was pretty epic, though, I made Gold forfet it. Also, Red had a Mewtwo and the Mewtwo got to meet N. As expected, Mewtwo's words only confused N about Pokemon even...more.....even though he was really trying to HELP him understand why people and pokemon were battle partners in his own, strange little way. It was one of the weirdest rps I ever witnessed.....
