Romance, Pokemon Style

Hello, all. This is Bluntasaur, and this is my very first post on the Bulbagarden forums.

I already asked this question on the IRC chan, but I figured I'd get the opinion of the forum crawlers as well.

If you could take your boyfriend or girlfriend on a date anywhere in the Pokemon world, where would you go?

Personally, my first choice would be Alto Mare, the Italy-esque water city from the fifth movie.

I could take my lady friend on a gondola ride through the canals (or on a river race, like in the movie intro). Then, we'd have dinner at a famous pasta restaurant. And to top it all off, we'd head to the roof of the highest tower in the city, and try to catch a glimpse of Latios and/or Latias.

But what about the rest of you? Where would you go?

I'd like to take my date to Jigglypuff's castle from Magical Pokémon Journey where they all celebrated Christmas.

Alto Mare sounds good too.

AltoMare for the traditional romantic type of date, LaRousse for a silly geeky date, an Orange Islands cruise for the same reason as Altomare, ...

...

and a quick trip to the Ruins of Alph because with the help of the Unown ... anything is possible

Yeah, if I had someone to go with, I guess that place where Bill lives. It is described as a good dating spot. But a walk in Celadon and a movie doesn't sound bad either.

Shamuti Island and the three Elemental Islands because it's beautiful, and they probably have some nice traditional island restaurants there.

I'd probably take my date to the Orange Islands. You know, just cuz we live in the mountains and a tropical vacation would be nice.

If I was a dude, I'd probably take my date and try to sneak onto Pinkan Island and catch her one of those pink pokemon. But since I'm a chick, and I hate that pinky girly crap...then I don't know why I even thought of this idea.

Something my boyfriend would probably get a kick out of, though, would be one of those pokemon showboats, like the one with the girl and the Raichu. If one of those happened to be around in the Orange Islands, I'd probably take him to see that.
