Rose Thorn Academy

[Naoto]

Rose Thorn Academy is an elite privite school located just north of Striaton City where trainers learn to polish up there skills in there chosen proffesion. (Cordinator, Trainer, Breeder, Connoisseur, Doctor) In this RPG you will portray the teachers and students.

The School itself has several buildings but the most unique feature about this school is the several locations where one can catch pokemon.

Rose Square
Rose square is the main square here in Rose Thorn Academy. This is what connects the the buildings and is equipped with several benchs so that several students can hang out here on sunny days. Its well known for the large fountain where there is a large stone swanna is sraying water from the mouth.

The Class Rooms
The Class Room building is located to the west of the main class room square. Like most of the buildings on campus, they are older building designed to look like gothic cathedrals. The Classroom building is equipped with several class rooms, a library, and a large arena for battling.

The Main Hall
The Main Hall is located just north of Rose Square. This is where all announcements are made, meals are eaten. Like all buildings, it designed to look like a Gothic Cathedral.

The Dorms
The dorms are located east of Rose Square, This where students are often sleep at night but also where they are sent if an emergency occurs.A 24 hour Pokemon Center is located here.


The Gate
The Gate is the only exit located at the Academy. After school hours the gate is open until curfew. From here students can leave for Striaton City and the Dream Yard. They can also leave for the various catching locations.

Garaldia Lake
East of the Academy is lake owned by the school. Garaldia Lake is a lake where students are aloud to fish for water pokemon.

Garaldia Forest
Garaldia Forest is home to various woodland pokemon. One could find many normal, Grass, flying, bug, and even electric and fighting type pokemon.

Kindle Cave
Kindle Cave is a large Caveren located by the Dream Yard. It is home to many pokemon includeing, Fire, poison, rock, and ground type pokemon

Abandoned Chapel
This chapel is located on campus, No one knows why it was built and there is even a story about a student who's dead body was found. The student's body mangled beyond regonition. Here many Ghost, Dark, and Psychic pokemon are found.

Sacred Spring
A spring located deep withing Garaldia Forest. It is the only place where Dragon type pokemon can be found.

Personality: Mio is quite shy at first meeting but as she grows used to the person becomes more confident and shows her true personality. She's quite a fun type of person and enjoys doing art and enjoys drawing pokemon especially catching snapshots from contests and drawing them. She is also quite smart but can be quite clumsy at times.

History: Mio is from the Sinnoh region and lived in Hearthome city although when she was younger lived in Twinleaf. Her insprioration to become a co-ordinator came from when she went to the contest arena for a reward for doing well in her school work. She saw a lot of pokemon dressed in beautiful accesories with their trainers matching them and from that moment after seeing them all perform excellently made it her goal to become a pokemon co-ordinator just as good as those she'd seen that day.
She was given her first Pokemon from her Uncle as her tenth birthday present sent over from the Kanto region, which was a Squirtle.

Tailisu has heterochromia, his left eye is green while his right eye is blue. He is 4'7' tall, he is thin with an average weight for a 11 year old.. Personality:Tailisu is a really eccentric,optimistic and happy-go-lucky kid, who almost always has an opinion on something. He is very friendly to people and is always there for his friends. He is also somewhat idealistic. He is almost always happy, unless someone ticks him off then he becomes really angry or when a something unfortunate happens. Though he is also thoughtful at times and he is smart. Some of his interest are drawing, reading, hanging out with his friends and playing video games. Some of the stuff he dislikes are spiders, rude people, elitist, being bored and having his time being wasted.


History:: Tailisu lives in Cerulean City with his family of five, his parents and his older brother and sister. His parents work a construction company, his sister is a pokemon breeder while his brother is a pokemon trainer and his brother is a pokemon trainer who left for Hoenn. Tailisu was also on his journey in Kanto though he wasn't very far in it.

Starter Pokemon: A Staryu, it's name is Radiant. It's very curious in everything new to him. It's moveset is Thunderbolt, Ice beam, Water Pulse and Recover.

Sydney, being the older sister has more defined features and is slightly taller then her sister, at 5 foot 7. She also, like her sister has tumbling brown hair, but she keeps her hair back sometimes. Her eyes are hazel coloured though. Just like her sister, she values fashion, but can be seen with a little more sophisticated, womanly wear.

Personality: Sydney is a more reserved, grown up person. She’s acts more like a University student as living with her younger sister she’s been there for her. Nonetheless, she’s still seventeen and therefore has her party, flirty, crazy side to her, but all in good taste. Unlike her sister, she’s easy going with guys, not all in their face. Relaxed and calm is the way she goes and she doesn’t crave for attention like her sister.

History: Sydney was born to a father who did business in Canalave City. Unfortunately, she, her sister and her mother lived in Solaceon Town. Her mother also had her own business, although it was more scientific. She was head of an archeologist and historical company. She worked in Solaceon Ruins most of the times, but sometimes had to work across Sinnoh in places such as Celestic Town. This in turn gave Sydney a lot of responsibility from a young age. Her mother started leaving her with her sister when she was 14, by this age her father died when she was 8.

Sydney has strong connections with Canalave City, as when her mother was home, she’d go to the house that her father used to live in, in Canalave City. She liked that city, and stayed every so often for a few weeks or so. She made friends there, especially in the University where she met some older guys and girls. This travelling around was from a young age, as even when she was little, she’d go to the daycare centre and play with Pokemon. This is where her breeding passion came from.

Chelsea has been called the spitting image of her mother. She has a nice figure and stands at 5 foot 4. Tumbling brown hair, light brown eyes and glossy lips are just part of her facial features. Chelsea does take pride in her appearance, body and clothes wise and normally wears typically more girly and “cute” clothes, showing her age.

Personality: Chelsea is a bubbly girl and likes to make friends with anyone. She does look up to her sister, but this most of the times end up in not jealousy, but competition to be like her older sister and better. She tries to be flirty whenever her sister has a boyfriend or even not, she tries to be louder. Whenever something doesn’t go her way, she can through a strop as she isn’t as mature as her sister yet.

History: A younger sister of a sister that seemed to be always looking after her, and then going to do her own things out of town when her mother was at home, Chelsea had grown up a little irresponsibly. Not in a bad way, but more in an outgoing way. She’d crave to be the best child and centre of attention.

A regular aspect of her growing up is her cycling to Hearthome. She knew what her sister would do when she went to Canalave so decided she was going to go places. However her mother would not let her. Upset she was being treated like a child and not allowed to have boyfriends or go places and be herself, she escaped for the day to a near City called Hearthome. This was easy as she could cycle there by day and make it before tea time and her mother wouldn’t suspect a thing.

In Hearthome, she saw many things that Solaceon didn’t offer. All the people and bustling life. She grew up looking at contests and wanted to be a coordinator. She even had a secret boyfriend in this city which she could keep secret from her mother.

Appearance : An slim tall youth he stands very tall for his age at 6 foot. He likes to be around nature so he is tan and smells like smoke often and sometimes his hands and clothes are sooty. Personality: Very intelligent he can give off the feeling of class and often does things in a more refined way if he can help it but that doesn't mean that he won't do it in a rough and brash way if he needs to. He does what he needs to do to get the job done to be short. He more happy than not most of the time and is often looking in his wallet at a picture of his girlfriend he left behind in his hometown to go to the academy.

History: John was born in the wilderness of Western Kanto and was raised by his ranger parents that taught him everything they knew about the wilderness and all of nature's secrets. He was taught at a nearby public trainer school and picked up a girlfriend who he still has. He has close ties to a lot of folk from there and mentions them sometimes. He got his passion for battling from his parents since they were renowned and feared Pokemon Rangers since no criminal ever bested them in a battle.

Name: Candice "Candy" Viloria

Hometown: Born in Hearthome City, moved to Celestic Town at the age of 8, then to Striaton City at the age of 11

Appearance: Candy stands at about five feet and four inches, and has a pretty slim figure, without any muscles to particularly boast about. Her face is heart-shaped, and her long, frizzly, blonde hair is almost always tied back in two rather careless bunches, with a similarly careless fringe resting on her forehead. She is almost always smiling, and her emerald-green eyes tend to twinkle in the sunlight, or whenever she is excited.

Candy can usually be seen wearing a tight, short-sleeved, white t-shirt with several small red hearts printed in the middle and a denim jacket on top, along with short denim shorts and white leggings that are long enough to reach just below her knees. Sometimes, in the winter, she'll add on a fur coat and a white neck warner to her outfit. She also wears diamond earrings - yes, real diamond ones.*

Personality: If you hadn't guessed by her looks already, Candy, just like what they tell everyone, is bright, outgoing, happy-go-lucky, mischievous... Well, anything but mature, that is, unfortunately enough for her.

Candy likes to talk before she thinks, and her hyper personality, along with her naughtiness, has punished her in several different ways. No one has ever seen her sad, let alone crying in a corner; she has been a cheerful girl for as long as anyone can remember, and there's certainly no doubt about that; she was born with her personality.*

However, she is a bit over-reactive and too stubborn sometimes, and has occasionally done some things without meaning to during her training sessions, promptly making her fail, thanks to her bounciness. Candy tries not to repeat that mistake, but it does happen once in a while - and she could be the one to ruin her mission and career if that happens again, much to her dismay.

History: Candy's first seven years of life were spent with her constantly arguing parents, and she often had to spend the night with a friend or at the local Pokémon Centre with the permission of the kind Nurse Joy, to avoid being hit by one of the flying chairs her father would've thrown at her mother in a typical fight.

When she was 7, her parents finally decided to divorce, feeling sick of all the constant fighting. Unfortunately for Candy, neither of her parents had planned on raising the child, and just dumped her at an orphanage as they went their separate ways. Poor Candy was lonely and unloved in the orphanage, but always kept her spirits high, and believed that there was hope for her parents to return and pick her up. She picked up the hobby of reading and studying different myths and legends from around the world, and soon they were all inside her head, ready to entertain her whenever she was bored or feeling down.

However, it wasn't her parents who came to pick Candy up a year later; it was a distant relative of Candy, a cousin of a nephew of a grand-uncle, in fact. He was an archaeologist named Liam Hawkes, and had heard from his cousin, who had heard from his uncle, who had heard from his brother, that Candy had a strong interest in myths and legends. Liam decided to adopt her, having had no success in conceiving children, and took her back to his home of Celestic Town, where she was to live with his wife, Sandra. The three of them often spent time exploring Mt. Coronet and studying the myths of Sinnoh, but that happiness only lasted for three years, after which Liam died in a hiking accident.

Sandra was then invited to live in Striaton City of the Unova Region with her sister, Jodie. Sandra agreed that doing so would be best for her and Candy - who had grown to be like her own daughter by then - and sailed to Unova a few weeks later. Candy secretly preferred living in Striaton City, where everything was happy, bright, cheerful and whimsical, just like her hometown of Hearthome City.

Two years later, Candy was accepted into the Rose Thorn Academy, and obviously this would be her first year at the academy... Hopefully, all will be well.*
