Hey, guys, I'm new around here. I was lurking for awhile, but when I saw the art here, I figured I'd come out of hiding and share some of my own. So here is Roxanne. ^_^

Great fanart I must say! The colors and the shading you used on it is simply beautiful. Her face looks somehow weird to me, but maybe I'm just being nit-picky.

You have great talent. I hope to see more of your pokémon fanart in the near future.

Thanks. ^_^ Yeah, I actually agree about the face-thing; I'm not exactly adept at that yet...

Great! She really looks a lot older than I imagined her here, kinda cute as well. The shading done on her's really nice

Wow, that's very nice, Echo!

I *love* the shading style you used, it looks very fluid and...well, I don't know what, but all of it looks really great. :-) The background goes very well with Roxanne, and the colors you used all fit together nicely.

As K-C said, the shape of her face is a little off, but not enough for it to be more than a very minor complaint.

Keep up the great work; I'd definitely like to see more of it!

Woah, that's like, professionally done..it could even pass for an official peice of artwork, seriously.

Wow! I download and I say "HAIR!" <-- weird response

Seriously, that's beautiful. Maybe her body is a little smaller in proportion, but the coloring makes up for it. ^_^ I'm eager to see more.

^^ GREAT pic. I was thinking the face thing as well; her chin is a bit pointed. But, it's really good ^__^

...Personally, I don't find anything wrong with the face! I think this is just your individual style of drawing... It definitely is a new style, but I think it looks really good!! And your coloring skills are fantastic... *_* This picture is so beautiful!!! I *love* what you've done with her hair. *huggles the piccie*

I love that pic! Very clear coloruing, but hte most obvious is the outlines. They have thickness and are just like the cliparts on Microsoft word only 100x better. Did you use a vector program? I've been searching for FAQs on them, I have no idea how to use Illustrator or Streamiline, and I have both... and photosohp... The eyes are really good, dammit I love teh outlines. YOu have to tell me how to do those things...

The only thing about it is , like everyone said, the face is a little mango shaped, and the eyes don't match up with the middle of the face too well. But I think it looks quite ok, like your own style of drawing or something.

Wow, thanks for all the comments, guys. Especially the constructive criticism, which has been pretty helpful. ^_^

Legend of Didesy - Actually, I did this on PSP7. The outlines I just used the bezier tool for. See, what I do is scan in my picture, create a new layer, use the bezier to go over the outlines, then delete the layer below it. Then I use the bezier again to thicken the outlines... How do I explain this? I make a parallel line beside each line and fill in the space in between to make it thicker. Gah, well, that probably didn't make sense-- it's hard to explain, but very easy (if tedious) to do.

The color, the shading, the outlines are all very sharp. Very clean. I'm pleased to see that you added a background, which is good. The one little quirk would be the proportions, and generally the girl looks too thing. Generally, you have some good coloring there, keep it up.

I understand!! ^^ Wow, that sounds like a heck lot of work... And bezier lines are EEEEVVVIILLLLL... still, I might try it out. You mean Pen tool by the bezier line? OMFG that thing is a nightmare ;_;
