ruby question

so i know in ruby to cath the legendaries you have to have relicanth and wailord but does anyone know where in the game you find out that you need those two pokemon?

Relicanth: Near Mossdeep(South), underwater grass. Its too rare, so be patient.

Wailord: Catch a Wailmer in Dewford/Sootopolis using the Super Rod. They're quite common. Forget about directly catching a Wailord, it would take the same time to evolve a Wailmer than it would to find Wailord(its so incredibly rare).
