Hey there,

As you might have guessed, this is a hate thread. I haven't played HeartGold and SoulSilver yet, but I'm sure that I'll love them just as much as FireRed, LeafGreen, Diamond, Pearl and Platinum.

As for the trio of the 3rd series, God they suck!!! There's nothing about them that doesn't suck, it's like they purposely added everything they could think of to annoy players. You know those card games on game systems that are programmed to practically cheat in order to increase computer difficulty because lord knows that they're not going to program a complicated computer AI to compete? Well this is what Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald are.

I'm up to the Elite four now and I have to grind again because that just how this game works.

-Unlike the other games, you can't catch a break if your monsters are 5 levels lower. Anything, including "Not very effective" moves will kill you if you're like 5 levels lower!

-The #$%^&#@ CPU will heal their God damn monsters 1 time when the HP turns red without exception!!! I don't mind them healing, but at lease make it random for God sake, the predictability is so obvious that it just becomes a waste of time. You have to drain just enough so that it doesn't it the red mark and then find an attack that will drain the rest or be punished by having the CPU heal the monster.

-I know that Vs seeker was something that was invented after Ruby and Sapphire, but they could have at least put in in Emerald. The Match Call is far from being a good way to grind because it's limited to a handful of trainers and it's not as frequent or affective as Vs Seeker.

-Why is it that your monsters miss their target more often than the CPU or get more critical hits when your monsters can get killed by a critical hit? No one can be that unlucky!!!

-I can understand that challenge is important, but the single player game could have given us a break with the strategies!! Why is it that every time you think that your monster has the upper hand with it's type, the CPU seems to know an attack that is still strong against yours (ex: a dark type that knows Rock Slide which kills your bug type)??? Leave that kind of stuff for Player Vs Player type of thing.

-And for #@%& sake, a Ghost Trainer, Ice Trainer and Dragon Trainer make up 3/4 of the Elite Four !!!! Have mercy for on us GameFreak !!!!!

Anyway, that's all I can think of for now. Feel free to add more stuff if you have the same hatred as I do. Want to flame me because you love these games, knock yourself out, I'll still hate them no matter what and you can't change these obvious facts I stated.

This sounds more like a bawwwlog then anything else. And just because you can't beat the E4, and the grinding tools suck, doesn't mean the WHOLE game sucks.

It's not obvious facts if your reasons are "the games too hard"
Need a tissue?
Seriously, I don't like Ruby, and I think this list is stupid.
Your arguments all seem to be "the games too hard" or "battles too sparce"
Well pfffff to you sir, and play a game for a challenge, not to murder

I'm just going to say I don't like how you refer to Pokemon as "monsters".

I've noticed that too. #1 tip for dealing with this: Use weak moves until a strong move can blow it out in one hit.

Or you know..you could use a OHKO super effective move...those aren't hard to do.

Level them up then, you wouldn't have this problem if you leveled them up 5 levels higher

Well, that's how the game works. Cynthia does the something, infact, every elite 4 does the same thing.

Look's like you're unlucky, my Pokémon's moves always hit. Make sure you Pokémon knows a move with 90%+ accuracy.

That is what makes challenges challenging.

It's not that bad, is it?

I defeated the E4 of Hoenn with ease. It's not that hard.

Protip: don't announce you're making a hate thread. It makes it really hard to make a case after it gets closed or gets you infracted.

That said... dude, get a hobby.

Mainly in the Anime and spinoff games. In the real games, they're still Pocket Monsters.

I own a copy of HeartGold. The title screen has the logo in katakana... with the world Pokémon in English letters beneath it. Whoops.

Oh and I hate to tell you, the trainers in HGSS do the "heal at the red" thing too, some multiple times - I had Lance use four Full Restores on his Gyarados today.

The third Generation was my least favorite generation but I took out the elite4 pretty easily with with my swampert it took like two times though on drake
