[B]Shop threads go into moderation queue when posted and must be approved by moderators before they appear on the forum index.[/B] Make sure your first post contains enough information so we can decide whether to approve it or not.

Shops can be led by multiple users, but in such a case, [B]the first post must contain a list of the thread owners.[/B] Each owner should preferably post a post of theirs at the beginning of the thread.

In a shop, [B]there must be a post by one of the shop owners at least every fourteen days.[/B] Otherwise the shop is considered inactive and will be closed automatically.

[B]New shops with no new posts sent within one day after its approval will be closed.[/B]

[B]Double posting is allowed by the shop owner if the new post contains enough new information[/B], such as Pokémon reserve updates. Also, [B]shop owners are allowed to reserve a number of posts from the top of the thread for possible later use.[/B] Don't go overboard, though: five posts should be plenty in most cases.

If all shop owners are on a hiatus, they should notify a section moderator to close their shop until their activity resumes. They can then inform the moderator again once they're back to get the shop reopened.

[B]Although Shop owners may include hacked Pokémon, they cannot specialize in trading them.[/B] For primarily hack based trades and for Pokésav (or similar) services, the Dubious Disc forum must be used instead.

A shop, as contrasted to a regular offer thread, should have a lot of Pokémon or items up for trade, or should provide services that can produce a good variety of different Pokémon.

A shop should also not be able to run out of its offers. This is probably not a problem to shops running RNG or specific breeding services, but shops running solely on specific already existing Pokémon may need to restock.

Be sure to list, if not in full detail, then at least in summary what kind of Pokémon and items you're offering. Threads lacking info or with no info whatsoever will not be approved.
