Runs of four Pokémon games to feature in European Speedrunner Assembly Winter 2026, raising money for the Make a Wish Foundation

The winter 2026 edition of European Speedrunner Assembly will be taking place this week from February 6th to February 14th. It will be held live out of Malmö, Sweden. A total of four Pokémon speedruns are scheduled for the event. The main stream can be found here, and the secondary stream can be watched here.

The European Speedrunner Assembly is a series of speedrunning marathons, with runners attempting to complete a game or accomplish a specific goal as fast as possible. It started in 2012 as a meetup inspired by Games Done Quick, before becoming a marathon in its own right the year after. The event was run semiannually starting in 2018, but skipped Winter 2025 to reorganize and figure out ways to improve the event in wake of safety concerns and other controversies. Over the course of its history, it has raised around $1,000,000 for various charities. In addition to its semiannual flagship marathons, their Twitch channel plays host to many smaller marathons, including Break the Record: Live.
