With so many fans can any of you @Karis; @Kaori; @Jam Scone; @Roxas; @Cinnamon Roll; @FrostyGaga; tell me why there was no thread made yet? :p A little birdie gave me your names if your wondering why the hell you were tagged. Also I have my sources. *winkwink*

So let's discuss what your favorite characters, what you look forward to the most, and all that Jazz!

And for those who want to see what's in store for this web-series, here are the four trailers introducing each girl.

Ruby
Weiss
Blake
Yang

And will say thus far I love Weiss, her fighting is so fluid and her theme is gorgeous even if it is depressing. :p

Yang is tightly secured as my favorite character at this point. c: Right now, I'm just curious to see what the actual plot is.

I'm not one to start threads but I was thinking about starting a group or something.
Weiss is awesome yeah. I've even downloaded her theme.

I liked both Weiss and Yang. I kinda liked Ruby as well, but her voice threw me off a little bit. I just have to get used to it.

Yeah, I'm definitely looking forward to RWBY.

I'd have to say my favorite is Weiss.
Yang is probably my second favorite, although she seems kind of... er, rude, to me.xP

Ruby has the best outfit.
Weiss has the best fighting style.
Yang has the best weapon.

All just my opinion, of course.

I fully agree, actually. Blake has the best...hair!

Poor Blake ;_;
I like her. A stealthy ninja, what's not to love? Too bad about her name

I'm still not entirely sure what I just watched... but it looks absolutely gorgeous.

Ruby is my favorite. Her voice did surprise me a bit too, but I actually liked it. It sounds so playful. Not only does she have my favorite design, her fighting style was so amazingly fluid and awesome. It was like a combination of physics used perfectly and completely abused.

I think Weiss was my second favorite. I like how she integrates... magic? Whatever it is into her fighting style. Yang had a cool "tough girl" personality. I do like Blake, even though she is technically my least favorite. I liked her voice actor quite a bit and her weapon was cool when she used that ribbon thing to swing it around.

In case you couldn't tell, Yang is my favourite. Overall, her design is my favourite, especially since I have a bit of a thing for asymmetry, and her lower half is asymmetrical. On top of that, her fighting style is my favourite, as it's straight-out badass without being too hard to watch. I know there's been a lot of complaints about her voice, but I think it's cute, and fits her bubbly character type. Blake is definitely my second favourite, her design is pretty and I'm intrigued by her trailer the most. Plus that hair, man.

My least favourite so far is Weiss. Something about her design irritates me, if not only because she's giving off a "kuudere" vibe and I'm not a kuudere fan. Her fighting style is pretty interesting, I'll admit, but out of the four she's definitely my least favourite in terms of design. As for Ruby, she's in the same boat as Blake, I have no problems with her but I wouldn't call her my favourite.

Blake is easily my favourite but I completely adore Weiss' fighting style and the incorporation of magic. If I am entirely honest I find both Yang and Ruby's voices irritating but that's just me.

*Gaga casts raise*
So episode one! Was pretty good. The voices were better than I expected and the soundtrack is as lovely as predicted.

I really really like Crimson :3 (the fire using girl Glynda fought). The song that accompanied her was epic too. Depending on her personality she may be right up there with Weiss for my favorites.

Ruby was so flipping adorable in that episode. XD I find the whole training academy thing interesting, if not a little cliché. I'm curious to see how things develop from here.

Also, human mobsters are more durable to blades than shadow werewolves, apparently.

I didn't like Ruby's voice in Yellow's trailer but it looks like the VA has toned down the pitch a bit.
"Are you robbing me?" So cute :3c

Being a fan of RvB, it's easy to see where this is going. There's going to be a lot of action and especially a lot of comedy. RT is still able to create hilarious content even in the 11th season, and with RWBY, they got a fresh start to be able to do whatever they want. Although, some of the animations look odd, but it's the first episode, so it can only improve on that. Also listening to their podcast where "Ohh, that's my uncle", after the location change, is pretty much a direct reference to what was said in the discussion about "japanese storytelling". Made me giggle.

But wow, the theme song is amazing and that's probably the #1 thing that makes this look quite a bit more "professional". This will be such a great show, and they completely nailed Ruby's personality.

Funfact:
The person that does the opening in episode 1 is the same person who voices Cortana in Halo

This actually looks to be a fun series with ep 3 just being released will be interesting to see how long it lasts
It will probably be the same for RWBY as it is for Red vs Blue and most other of their shows, if people still watch it and like it, there's always going to be more. It doesn't have to be a continuous series with at least 1 season per year, but there will always be more coming if people demand it. And as I see it, they have no plans of ending the series at all.

Well, Zzzlol94 was right. There is definitely a lot of humor.
This series is hilarious so far and the potential for an epic story is huge.

I just finished up Volume One a few days ago. I quite liked it, although obviously it wasn't perfect. Still, an interesting series and I'd look into attending RTX to catch the Volume Two premiere if I didn't already know I'd be out of town :/

Sun is basically the best thing ever, and I like the little nods to other RT material ("that's my uncle," Burnie and Joel as cops, the Slow-Mo Guys sound effect, etc.).
