Kids' WB! ends their streak of reruns this week with a new-to-the-US episode!

So anyway, Ash and the gang are travelling up a mountain on their way to Lilycove when they come across a town. There, they encounter the PMC from Johto, who are after a pokemon who came from space! Can Ash and the gang stop their plans?

An Episode where I enjoyed the alterations of the Dub. The original was too Ho-Hum. The dub went slightly above that.

What I found the most pleasing was the space comments towards Cleffa and Starmie. The funny thing is, that much was true.

And of course, hearing Dexter.
 
Actually, the dub is very enjoyable for me as well because I can't stand the way the VA who's filling in for Hayashibara Megumi plays her role in the Japanese version.
 
What alterations were made and how were they an improvement? Like Brock's whole shpeal about Joys? Because that was hilarious.

"She *was* wearing my favorite scent--Nurse Joy Number Five."
"There's a Nurse Joy perfume?!"

EDIT: Aah, what I get for posting *during* the episode. The exchange between Jesse and Ken was pretty funny too.
"So you're admitting you're weird?"
"Um...wait, let's back up..."

I need to keep my episodes straight. They all kinda run together... Anyway, this one was alright. Meowth gets used. Blatently. He tells everyone what's wrong w/ Lunatone then arrogant Jessie and James have to ruin it and get themselves blasted off.

Everyone running away from Nurse Joy was great.

"Hey! Who are you calling weird? I'm not weird... am I?" That is MUCH better than the blasting off line. They can now talk to each other when flying to certain pain! Skills.

Yeah, I know Lunatone was low on power and scared, but it was still a wild pokemon, Team Rocket have just as much right to catch it as any other trainer would. *sigh* As far as everything else goes, it was great to see the PMC again, the motto was cool, And there were some pretty great lines. I loved all the stuff between Brock and Joy, and Jessie's argument with the PMC rocked!!! I really wish they would show up more often, they interact so well with TR. overall rating: 2, 1/2 stars

Not if they were going to use it, or give it to others who were going to use it, for nefarious purposes. You wouldn't want t3h 3bil teams getting a rare and possibly powerful Pokémon in order to get (including stealing) more Pokémon and to fund research for creating more powerful Pokémon for the same and other reasons, legitimately or not, right? Then they would become little more than feedable guns, depending on how bad the situation got or if it will get that bad in the first place. Ah, the confusing world of Pokéworld ethics....


It was... ok. There were some funny parts, but it just didn't feel all that great. Hypnotized Nurse Joy and the "moon party" thing were kind of funny, though. 7.5/10.
 
It was an ok episode. I liked the moon party too. I thought the PMC was from Houen, but I was wrong. I liked the part when Ash and friends saw Team Rocket's shadow and they thought it was a strange pokémon or something.

It was interesting when someone's leg was randomly in the air... o_O;
 
Wow, I had a lot of fun watching this episode, even though I was waiting it to end because I was so sleepy. And the whole bit about Nurse Joys was REALLY funny. I noticed he had a photo of the tan Nurse Joy from the Orange Islands. Perhaps he and Tracey have been exchanging pictures? ;)

Also, the whole "weirdness" exchange was pure genious. It was nice hearing something different from "We're blasting off again!" for a change. 9/10 for this one!
 
Meh... the "I'M NOT WEIRD" was the only good thing about this episode. 6/10.

But...when this first came out in Japan, the PMC were seriously the last people I expected to turn up.
 
Definitely a 'meh' episode. What I found interesting was that the TC was actually sort of a challenge. Who'd ever remember that Bug is 'least effective' against poison? o_O

But what was most interesting was that the Castform episode followed it. ^_^ Because both episodes dealt with Brock losing his mojo around women ("Milli" and possessed!Joy).

You know, Bug used to be strong against Poison in R/B/Y. Why'd they have to go and change that?

Because Poison was strong against Bug at the same time, and it didn't make any sense. :P The only types that are SE against each other are...well, Ghost against itself and Dragon against itself.
 
I saw crazy as a Luneitone and i thought it was a pretty good ep does anyone else think that :7up:

This episode was great (although, it's not one of my favorites, but it's still good).

Anyway, here's my review of this episode:

I thought this episode was pretty good! Getting to see the PMC again was great! And I always think it's funny whenever they start to make one of their new gadgets (lol). I liked it when Lunatone hypnotized Nurse Joy, cause it was really funny to see her acting like that. XD And I can't really think of anything else to say about this episode, since it's been almost a week since I've seen it (and I'm also in a bit of a hurry, cause I have to go somewhere soon). Oh, and my favorite of this episode was when Ash said that one line about the Moon Party. That was hilarious!!!! XD And I also liked the part when Jessie was arguing with the PMC (lol). That was funny too. And overall, I liked watching this episode, it was cool, and it was really funny too, of course.

Rating: 9 out of 10
