Review S08 EP45: Rough, Tough Jigglypuff

I feel that 4 Kids doesn't want to be funny anymore seince this episode was serious. Too serious.
 
Indeed on the rice balls. CG notes? o.o XD at TR blasted off while still in the motto.
 
Get used to the tacky CGI. You'll be seeing it a lot from this point forward.

Be glad this episode fell into Season 8 rather than Season 9.

Could you imagine Jigglypuff's song without Rachael Lilis? Ugh, thank god this episode was done by 4kids instead of the PokemonUSA cast.

Yeah, the fire wasn't too bad, but the musical notes just seemed stupid.

I was hoping that they would have been able to have better episodes than the fillers they're putting in now before the show leaves kidsWB, and then I remembered the voice actors.
 
The music I could understand but the fire was just bad. 4Kids has editors, use them! Great episode overall, though.

It took me a moment to notice, but... WOAH! I find it hard to believe they didn't edit them out.
 
X__x;; I missed it... AND last week's episode... *makes sure I have alarm clock at EXTRA loud* At least I saw the episode pics for it...
 
4Kids probably realised the pointlessness of editing them after the Hoenn League. Were they called rice balls?

They likely would have just sampled one of Rachel's earlier performances as Jigglypuff and copied/pasted it into this episode.

From what I heard, 4kids is not even allowing PUSA to use the Pokemon sound archive they recorded. In essense, they've held all the voices hostage from the series.
 
The credits from "The Mastermind of Mirage Pokemon" seem to indicate otherwise.

That was for the special though, Season 9 is different according to oldmantruthseeker who posts on SPP.

And didn't we all agree that 4kids were probably the original ones who wanted the special, but the dub had to shift to PUSA?
 
Wait, so did they not list any of the humans' voice actors? Those obviously were not from the archives...

They just showed them being eaten, as far as I know nothing was said about them

They did...they were listed right before the one I took a screenshot of.
