Surprized no one made an episode thread for yesterdays new episodes

These two episodes are on again today this morning for those who missed them.

Of course, I do think it was a little dumb they used Gotta Dance in the second episode which obisiously has Maddie's Meowth singing in it. They could used another song instead. Of course, it was cool hearing her Meowth voice again.

Ka Boom with A View was OK. But what I really liked was King and Queen for a Day. That was the best filler I'd seen in ages. Maybe it's because I like Manene (Sure, Sweet Baby James was kinda Manene-centered, but let's face it, it was mainly James). I also loved the useless attack battle. It was funny seeing everybody dance!

EDIT: I was so happy to see that writing on that guy's business card! Who knows what 4Kids would've done to it? (Can someone tell me if that was fake writing or real Japanese?)

That wasn't Japanese. It's the writting they've been using for a while now on the show. It's just some random squribbles that don't really mean anything. I believe it does have a name, but I forget what it's called.
 
Well, after the King and Queen for a Day ep just went off, I noticed this awkward comment made by Ash: "Brock, your poking me a little too hard.."
 
Well, Maddie can offically stand tall as the longest surviving Voice Talent on Pokemon.

I don't see why PUSA has this obssession with adding "Poke" to everything. Dogasu is right. "It's Poke-annoying."
 
....I continue my love for the script writers. They are wonderful, beautiful people not afraid to slip in the raunchier lines, and I love them. *_* I mean, heck! Spencer's line toward Heracross's nectar-eating habits, and Venusaur's blushing? XD And Ash's line as they Teeter Danced?

I still can't figure out why these episodes seem more animated. May and Brock's fanning of the soap opera was...I just really liked how Brock moved around and posed himself. XD Not to mention his line, "Children can be so cruel!" and the two lines beforehand exchanged with Max.

Anyway, Ash's one line about urging Sceptile back to its feet before blowing up with Solarbeam was, IMO, perfect execution of emotion by his actress. W00t.

....And I'm going to slink off now and nurse my depressed cravings for Scott/Brock and Brock/James. Sigh.


And do we ever see Jamero again? It's a handy lil machine, if not overly polite and slightly annoying.

That would be gibberish. If you were looking for something more technical, I'm
not sure what it is either, sorry. But yeah, at least PUSA knows where not to
over achieve. Plus, You know, say 4Kids had gotten their hands around to
editing it, a blank business card would have been rather silly so I'm sure they
might have left something in tact.


On to the episodes, and man none are we to be disappointed ^_^. Spencer's
few battles were pretty amazing. They pretty much changed the logistics of
a battle...Ash using all of the surrounding area to gain a better advantage.
Sure its a nobrainer, but animators usually get lazy noting these facts. I loved
the detail not just in this episode, but the King and Queen one too.

Speaking of the King and Queen Episode, I feel that this episode has that
memorable appeal. I can defiantly see this one going on my list of top faves.
Brock and May's lines were awesome near the begining! Ah I wish I didn't
have such bad memory so I could recall them.

You know, I don't know if it were just me, but I couldn't help thinking that
those so called 'agents' were none other than those Ouendan guys. I was
expecting them the whole time to just break out and start dancing
[that whole teeter dance moment would have been the perfect time XD].

Ah a really great episode. Now I wish I had it on tape :/.

all things considered, I think it was rather tacky of them to use my voice.

Plus it didn't help they had the director plastering his comments all over the
place. I wonder if PUSA realized they were using your voice Maddie, but they
had to muffle it out a bit to not sound so obvious.
 
Even if they got the new Meowth to sing the song, he wouldn't be right singing it anyway. His voice isn't as musical as Maddie's.

Actually I think it was better that way. I don't think Zoppi can sing, certainly not as Meowth.
 
That was one of the things I didn't like about the second episode. They should of used another song instead of using a song that has Maddie's voice in it when she's not even the current Meowth voice. I think the Dance of the Bellossom music would of worked pretty well for that scene.

Besides, it's not like PUSA keeps in all of the music in every episode anyways.
