Review S09 EP21: Curbing the Crimson Tide! ・ EP22: What I Did for Love!

Seeing him write all over their face ala Jiggypuff was funny. I do miss seeing Jigglypuff on the show. It was funny when it did appear.

The read of the episode title was just bad. Even Sarah can do better than that.

And really--they couldn't tell that it was a Scizor from the head alone?

And they keep on saying she's getting better.........

Cool battle with Sceptile and Scizor though.

I thought Sceptile kicked more butt in his fight then May's Squrtle. Though, Squrtle has always been one of my favorite starters. Ash's always kicked ass.

Shame Luna had a change of heart. It was nice to see an evil little kid.

Speaking of Luna, how many times have they used that name so far? And she was supposed to be really young, right? But she was the same height as May.

He said, " A charboard box?" ,which was a line in the games

The Ice Beamed ice crystals looked a lot like the crystals in that movie.

So...why *does* Jesse need costumes to compete? No one seems to recognize them as being Rocket agents anyway...and then she pulled out that hippie costume--what, she couldn't compete in that?

So...why were they so shocked when they found out it could talk? They're been around Meowth for how long now?

Because the show is never consistant with things like that.

So first they have the third movie crystals, then we find out that the green-haired gal is named Mollie. Interesting.

Scep believes it can fly. And I've never seen Brock be so intense before. Then again, anything is possible when a girl is around with Brock.

I love how they constantly tease us about Brock leaving the show with a girl but it never happens. It's honestly like the writers would think we care.

And this is exactly why I'm disappointed that Hikari's bunny knows Ice beam. May's Squirtle gave us enough Ice beam appeals to last us a lifetime, seeing more of the same in D/P will be taxing.

Even though the battle could have been staged a little better, (May should have gotten a hit in the first half to make Brock's point drop more believeable), it was still an enjoyable episode.

I laughed at Brock's, "I can't remember the last time I've been in an official battle."

LOL, so true. Maybe he'll actually become more active for once instead of standing there like a statue in every episode. (Nah, who am I kidding?)

Speaking of Luna, how many times have they used that name so far?

Just once before. This makes twice.

Well, as ironic as it sounds, XD I must say, Brock's debut on stage wasn't just to show off the talents of his pogeys, but also for his VA and all he can do with Brock. My god, where have you been hiding all these years? *_*

The only thing that irks me is, why did Brock have a dent in his points when Marshstomp never got hit or took any sort of damage before Eevee made a come-back? XO Cheating much, animators?

And Mollie did sound forced. Otherwise.... *_* adorable. And a RATICATE.

*introduces Luna to Molly Hale* I liked her attitude. Like a nine-year-old. Or near-ten.

And..yeah. May? Honey, sweetie pie? Enough with the Bubble/Ice Beam combos. They got old.
